My grandfather, who is still living in Australia, would like me to try to find his war records. He served in the British Army of the Rhine (B.A.O.R) in World War 2 and I have basically all the information about him (his number, battery, regiment, etc), but I can't find a comprehensive site for finding his record or any information about his regiment. Any suggestions?

I'm not a smoker... pot that is. I never liked the way it made me feel and that's the only reason. But I was thinking of starting an organization that supports the legalization and regulation of marijuna in all states in the U.S.

Did you know that of total deaths in the year 2000 in the US, 3.5% were alcohol related, and 0.0001% were marijuana related? That includes consumption, violence, and vehicle crashes. That's a 35,000 times difference!

I think it's rediculous that people are being sentenced to jail for possession. Cocaine and Heroine are a different story. But people don't die because of car crashes when marijuana is involved.

So I want to include as members, people who are also non-smokers who agree with me. That will add credibility to the claims, since we wouldn't be asking for habit support.

Does anyone find that plausible?

i have tried marijuana before and cocaine once when i was younger but i dont want them to hold that against me because i will never try it again. do they ask you questions about that? i have a feeling if i say yes that i have tried drugs they will disqualify me.

I mean we know the polls don't mean a thing, when Republicans come out they come out in huge numbers. With Hillary and Obama in the picture, I can see the largest Republican turnout ever, even more than in '04. Do they have any "real" candidates that have a chance at winning?

I'm only 4'11 and I have asthma and a lot of allergies. I'm a fighter and I work really hard in school. I already have a black belt in karate and my instructors are retired marines are so put in a little military into our training so I'm used to it. I only weight 106 and I'm 15 so I'm really fit. I want to go to military college in a couple years and serve from there. I want to be an engineer or work with science. I feel that I should serve my country and I love the US more than anything. I'm only a freshman but I always see recruiters in the hallways during lunch and I talked to a couple and they gave me some info. Do you think I could get in even though I have asthma? I have a 90 gpa and I'm in a lot of clubs (science, library, renisannce) so I'm good at managing my own time. Thanx

I am currently going through a background investigation with a law enforcement agency. I had to list every job (including silly part-timers) I've held in the last 7 years. Do they really contact each one even if it's irrelevant to the position you're applying for? Just curious

I was going through the security check at PHX airport on Tuesday with my boyfriend, and the Police arrested me for a warrant they said the Grand Jury Indicted me. They took me downstairs at the airport and frisked me, no finger prints or mug shot or booking number, then drove me downtown to "bond" out. Then drove me back to the airport to catch the next flight. My boyfriend said the Police told him that since the new passport law changed on Tuesday, there is a new "super computer" that knows every flight I take and that's how they knew I was there, and they arrested me. I fly internationally every week. It has never happened before and that is an old warrant. I think they got tipped off. Do they have a new system that checks for warrants? If so, when I book a flight online, does that go to a computer that tells them who I am, where I'm going and when?
