Stem Cell Research is sick, Abortion is murder, evolution is a joke made up by some idiot with a PhD, and gay marriage is against all my beliefs. God created man and woman to reproduce. Get the point? The Bible says these things are to come to past before the end of the world, all is coming to pass. The world will be destroyed by hell fire and brimstone, like wmd's maybe. A lot sick things are happening to this whole world, and it is like this because people have just sat back and let it happen, now it is to late to reverse the situation of all the above you have questioned. But no one will ever make me believe that what you stated in your question is not true, your right.

you all are a bunch of retards except for No Way, James B, CJ Big, and m c who i think is 100% correct. stem cell research has saved how many lives. none, thought so. Abortion, don't have a baby if your just going to get an abortion. If you do anyway, give it to an adoption agency. if you do an abortion, you might as well be a murderer. Don't even get me started with evolution. James B is right when he said it's an impossible mathematical equation that was developed by a retard. While people are created from dirt I was created by someone else. I'm no ape or a mouse or a rock. And I'm going to heaven, not becoming a tree. Gay marriage is horrible. men and women not freaken men and men or women and women. how gay is that. that's persecution your whole life and i don't think anyone wants that. your not born gay, so just don't go gay. there's a priest i heard that wanted to turn straight and he became a priest 2 years later. these topics are the things tearing up the country.

I think there are bigger things on the plate than these.
But... regarding them....

I wonder why embryonic stem cell research is being pushed by so many when adult stem cell and blood cord cell research is so much more promising but isnt getting the push.

Abortion well to me it obviously cant be 100% illegal. Although I think it is often a solution to irresponsibility for some people.

Gay marriage. Well its obvious that the majority of people do not believe that marriage is defined as anything but a man and a woman. But what I think is wrong is... for purposes of beneficiaries to estates and to insurances... why should'nt a gay person be able to name someone. I think that the civil union thing helps address that and I can't see whats wrong with it at least.

To me the overall economy is in some rough shape. health care, education, crime, social security. And I see illegal immigration as the biggest issue as it make a big impact in all those areas.

Stem Cell research has the potential to save millions of lives, yet the religious right would rather seen them thrown away then used.

If you don't believe in abortion, don't have one.

If you don't believe in evolution, fine, that's your decision. But it is SCIENCE, and should be taught. Unlike Intelligent Design, which belongs in a theology class, not a science class. Because it is NOT SCIENCE. It is promoting creationism.

Really, how will allowing gays to marry affect you? I don't think it's really threatening the "sanctity of marriage", which really wasn't that sacred until the 1800's.

But hey, you're entitled to your opinions and I'm entitled to mine.

I don't believe in Evolution, if they wish to teach such dribble in "science" class. Go ahead, it's not much of a theory, It is mathematically impossible and illogical to say the least.

I am against Abortion, Gay Marriage, Gay Adoption, and the religious persecution of Christians that the so called "open minded" liberals are instituting in the USA.

Stem Cell Research, the jury is still out on that because I do not have enough information about it.

Well, those are the pointless topics that are tearing the country apart. The "anything else" category is the stuff that's actually important. The war on drugs, social security, the national debt, the trade deficit, homeland security, partisan politics, foreign aid, immigration, medical coverage, and the state of the educational system.

You are against the things you do not understand and know nothing about. You just spew the brainwash rhetoric that people have taught you to do, You are like sheep all of you just copying the "big Guy" in your life, whomever that may be. I am speaking here of the micro and the macro. That PATERFAMILIAS, the one who tells you how to think and behave. Lesson number one: TOPICS do not tear nations apart, people who are ignorant and hateful do!
All war stems from misunderstanding, assumptions and hate;
Failure to advance science stems from ignorance and fear;
If everyone had your attitude there would be no vaccines in the world and we would all be dead anyway..... Why be afraid of advancement? Why not educate yourself about the things you dont know, like getting to know some gay people or gay families and their life's issues and struggles. Once they become human to you , you might just stop referring to them as "TOPICS".

yes it is and it shouldn't. Gay marriage does not hurt anyone and should not be anyone's business but the people getting married, if abortion is against your morals than dont have one, but dont tell other people what they can do, evolution has nothing to do with politics, and I hope you never get something that stem cells could have helped with.
