Iraq is going to be on it's own in 2008 (probably second quarter of the year). Afganistan is going to be harder, because we aren't going to invade Afganistan, although the number killed per square mile means that there is just an annoying trickle of Taliban recruits (40 in a 100 square mile area is not much of an army). If we can train the Afganistans to hold the cities and roads, the U.S. could set up an air patrol to help prevent the enemy from slipping through (all though this will probably be permanent).

we didn't go to war to win, we went to support or allies in returning a broken country to democracy
