I believe Republicans consistently win the Presidency because when people have to make a decision about the leader of the United States, the Democrat always reminds people of the last kid picked for the kickball team in elementary school gym class and the Republican is one of the two captains picking the team. In other words, Americans don't want an impotent guy like Carter getting *****-slapped by the Ayatollah of Iran or a degenerate like Clinton who you'd expect to be touching himself under his desk. They want leaders like Nixon (twice elected) , Reagan (twice elected), Bush (War Hero) and Bush Jr. (twice elected).

How long is it likely to take a magistrate to make a decision about custody? The hearing was on the 19th and I've just spoken with his assistant who said she doesn't have anything yet.
I'm optimistic of the outcome but naturally nervous. My ex does not take care of our 12 year old. His 70+ year old grandmother and his mother do. His mother is capable, but I AM HER MOTHER. In fact her father has done everything possible without being in direct violation of court ordered agreement to keep me from beign involved in her daily life. SHE told teh magistrate that he forced her to drive his full-sized pick up on county roads adn that the only food in their home is what I have bought and sent for her. The list goes on and on to things he's either done, including attempting to have information from teh school kept from me.
I am anxious to get her out of there!
The judge even told her some of the things he makes her do are illegal!

How much longer is it likely to be before we hear anything?

Bush has just given the thumbs up to deal with Iranians helping insurgent Iraqs within Iraqs borders, by "any means necessary". Sounds violent. I predict alot more blood is going to be spilled soon; the Middle East has become an American warzone. What do you think?

I believe, just as great nations of times gone by ( Greeks, Romans, British Empire, Persia ) the United States is on it's last legs as a GREAT WORLD LEADER.
What's your opinion ??

...sometimes just military wannabees. Its almost as though a questioner can guess who is really a mlitary. But sometimes, in fact many times, when you ask a question it turns out that the person who answers has absolutely no knowledge of what they are talking about. I'm talking about quest's such as "How long is basic training for army?" "when did military start using (a cetain type of weapon)", or even questions about their sleeping arrangements. etc. I like it when an answerer identifies him/herself as a member of our military. They usually know what they are talking about...

There is a certain personality type that approves of war. They think it helps to clarify the natural order of things, and reinforces traditional values. These are the people who don't mind seeing violence in popular culture, but get moralistic about sex. How many of the 23%ers who still support the war fall into this category I wonder?

I know it's very unlikely that it will ever happen but what if it did. For instance, everyone just felt that the country was in too big of a mess and it was too much to handle, and no one wanted to step up to the plate and take control. Are there laws or ordinances in place just in case something like that ever did take place? I guess i'm basically trying to ask who would run the country in the absence of a President?

I wrote this:

First and foremost, if there is a God a third party candidate will win the 2008 elections and turn this country back towards the Constitution that made it great.

Secondly, healthcare is the least of our problems. We first need to know WHAT HIT THE PENTAGON. WE THE PEOPLE know there are additional video tapes available that show EXACTLY what hit the Pentagon on September 11, 2001 and WE DEMAND TO SEE THOSE TAPES. We DEMAND to know WHY we are sending our sons and daughters into battle to fight terrorism. We DEMAND to know WHO the terrorists really are. And the fact that YOU have not said a word about these hidden video tapes raises SERIOUS concerns regarding your integrity.

Regarding healthcare, it's fine as it is. If you truly need help all you have to do is to go to the Emergency Room. if you need ongoing help, there are programs available to get you what you need. Healthcare is not the cancer eating this nation alive, it's blood-sucking politicians who are destroying this once great nation and who are MURDERING our children and people all over the world fighting terrorism that has never been proven to exist by any means other than words from politicians.

Do the planet a favor and press forth to have the Pentagon video tapes released to the public so we can put Conspiracy to rest and get our country back on track.

I know that, in some states, the possession of a lockpick without a good reason (such as a job in law enforcement or locksmithing) is illegal and taken as evidence of criminal intent.

I find it useful to carry picks for a few locked cabinets whose keys have been lost, but that I have complete legal access to. Plus, I like lockpicking. However, I'm not certain that my hobby is legal in my state.

The government can see your internet searches on public library computers - hmmmm, well, it IS the government's computer, so I don't think you had a privacy right there to begin with.

If the government is already monitoring a foreign terror suspect's phone calls and you happen to call him or be called by him, the government doesn't have to hang up even though it has no warrant to tap YOUR phone..... They've done this for years and they've always had the right to.

You have to show the bank an ID when you open a checking account and the thresholds for reporting large financial transactions are slightly more inclusive than the ones in anti-money-laundering and anti-tax-evading statutes on the books since the 1960s. Doesn't seem like a big deal to me.

I can't think of anything else that's actually true that affects our Constitutional rights.

So is this just another made-up attack?

Thought so.
