LMAO.

You know, the clutch on my 74 MGB failed recently.

I'm waiting for Bush to stop by and fix it.

The World Trade Center was a privately owned building in New York City. Whoever owned the building needs to rebuild or sell the land and its was up to the New Yorkers to decided. I remember a few months ago they voted on a design. You might want to check into it.
Hurricane Katrina was a national emergency situation. The federal agencies always help cities in situations like that but a the state has to declare a national emergency something the Louisiana authorities dropped the ball on when they didn't ask for aid right away. Most governors of states and mayor of cities care about their population and get as much help as soon as possible.. I didn't see them doing that before the Hurricane hit not like they didn't had plenty of warnings. It's not any president's job to help in those situations that is what the federal agencies are set up for..

because of the reality the biggest social sport in NYC is "kvetching" (griping). There are very almost thirty governmental companies and community communities in touch in this remember and that they could't agree on some thing. according to danger, after closure of the penitentiary at Guantanamo and the pass of a number of the detainees to the Federal Metropolitan Corrections midsection in Foley sq. (approximately ten blocks north of Church and Vesey Streets) the persons in touch indoors the rebuilding might desire to take umbrage with contributors of Al Queda staring on the hollow indoors the floor and get some concern going!

I'm not sure of the purpose of your question, but I think the Towers should have been rebuilt, immediately.

If no one wants to become a tenant, stick the UN in there.

I'm in the NYC area, and the hand-wringing and the arguments over what to do have been disgusting.

I fear that people will look back on our actions, in this and many other areas, as indications of the decline of America.

476 AD, anyone?

Bush isn't rebuilding the WTC. The government is giving funds to rebuild it, but that's up to NYC planners, I believe the Port Authority is doing that. He's also not rebuilding New Orleans, the government is providing funding for that. Where do you get these ideas?

It's not his responsibility. I'm sure that the owner was paid out by insurance but the problem is the argument between the families of the 9-11 victims and the developers. They cannot agree on the memorial.

It takes more than a few years to build something like that, remember it took over a year to clean the mess up. Then it takes several years to come up with the right building for the need. It will get done, btw Bush isn't the one building it.

What an ars, the WTC will not be rebuilt out of respect for the victims who died there and their families. They will build a memorial on Ground Zero. Show some respect.

The WTC was covered by insurance and is a private enterprise. It would take an act of congress to provide funds for this.

Umm lets see, last time I checked he was President of the US not a freaking General Contractor and if you would pick up the paper or watch the news instead of having your head stuck to your I-pod, Xbox or whatever you would know that construction has started on the Trade Center Site and it is going to be known as the freedom Tower. I guess because someone else is already rebuilding the WTC.

And since when is it his responsibility to rebuild everyone's house in NOLA?

FEMA is handling disaster relief, not the President.

As for the anti-Semitic question... do you have some proof?
