I think cigarettes and alcohol are legal because only a certain number of people can get rich from their sales. When you have drugs like weed, cocaine, herione, etc anyone can get rich selling them but only a few people/companies can make their own cigarettes and alcohol. I just think the government does not want people easily getting rich. They can talk about how certain drugs are illegal for health and safety. But to me cigarettes and alcohol ar e the most abused drugs because their legal. Look at how people die from smoking and drunk driving plus the stupid things people do when their drunk . Also look at how cigarettes and alcohol damage the body in the long run and someone please tell me how they are not drugs. I personally think from a fair point of view make all drugs legal or illegal dont have any exceptions.

everybody that defends bush says he is doing a great thing, that he needed to attack them first, and we need a strong president who isnt afraid to "do whats right." but imagine if bush had been president in 1962, during the cuban missle crisis. we had pictures (=proof) that the soviets had WMD, specifically nuclear weapons. with bush's mentality, he would have launched an invasion to eliminate them. then they would have launched their missles, we would launch ours, and the world would be devastated. he would have had our nation destroyed. so is his policy really as good as many of you argue? why does war always have to be an answer?

I noticed that every time he lies he sticks his tongue out a little bit between his lips. It's probably one of his "dry drunk" mannerisms.

When hiring someone, say you interviewed someone who seemed really good, was well qualified -- but tested positive for marijuana. Would you hire them anyway, or stick firmly to your policy?

This question is specifically about marijuana, not other drugs

It's a retail store that is doing this. I'm not having this problem but a friend of mine who works at the same place is having this scheduling issue. Isn't it a law that an employee must work a 4-hour work shift? Please advise if you know the answer to this. Thanks.

Maybe, its just me, but it seems that the pickings are slim for our next president. All the candidates appear to be feeding off of what Bush has/hasn't done for their campaign and none have offered any real original vision for their possible term. New candidates are throwing their hats in the ring every day hoping to grab what scraps are left of the presidency which makes them all less appealing.

I'd love to see a candidate recognized for their attributes and not their race or gender. Don't get me wrong; diversity is great, I just don't think it should be the campaign slogan.

Anyway. I have no high hopes for 2008. How about you?

Bush has failed in Iraq miserably. Just about everyone agrees on that. Why should he send more troops now if he hasn't been successfull so far?
