Here is the deal. I have a sports video tape that I am sure is copyrighted somewhere along the way. I think I could get bookoo bucks for this if I sold it. However, i do not want to end up Bubba's roommate at the State Pen! If I sell another item and give the video away free is that breaking copyright law? Any help would be appreciated

We still have troops in Germany, Korea, and Japan for that matter. WWII ended a long time ago, as did Korea.

Will there be a realignment?

Is it time to close our bases in Europe? Or at least scale them back?

Texas Governor Rick Perry is sending an additional 604 Army
National Guard troops to the U.S.-Mexico border in a mission
dubbed “Operation Wrangler.” The troops will join the 1,700
Army National Guard troops already on the Texas border since
last summer. Gov. Perry is calling the move “just the beginning
of a long-term commitment to rid our state of drug trafficking
and human smuggling.

Will the mission make a dent in the
problem,or is this just another example of state and local law
enforcement trying to pick up the federal government’s slack?

What do you think ?

I know many people who take drugs (usualy quite soft drugs), I myself don't even smoke tobacco, but I believe things would be better if recreational drugs were made legal and could be bought from a drug store. At the moment the criminal element is benefiting from the fact that drugs are illegal. It seems to me that the fact that drugs are illegal doesn't seem to stop anyone from taking them who wants to take them, it may even glamerize the drugs. If drugs like canabis or even cocaine were avaliable from drug stores, the government could control the industry much better. The drugs could contain clear warnings, and the drugs could be taxed (to help the government who have to pay from the drug problem in society). Their strength (or weakness) of active ingedents could clearly be labelled, and everything would be far less risky, the chaotic and dangerous trade in drugs at the moment could be made much safer. Obviously there should be a age limit on the buying of the drugs. What do u think?

Have you even CONSIDERED that the President's Plan is a HUGE personal risk for him and the Republican Party ? If it doesn't work. . .... obviously there'll be hell to pay come election time . The Republican Party will lose almost EVERYTHING . That's pretty much a 'given' . So, doesn't it make much more SENSE that the 'Plan' has a great chance for success ? And clearly there are things within the plan that are NOT going to be made PUBLIC .

I'll wait to see your responses, but Consider the 'Big Picture' and wouldn't that make EVERYONE HAPPY to have a successful operation ?

I'm chairman of a local Chemical Networking group, and our US profession is being devastated by outsourcing all the chemical plants to India and China. Over 50 plants are being shut down and moving out of the country. We would never be able to fight a war without chemicals especially because China and India would never support us in a time of conflict. Not to mention the devastation of US chemists who are now out of work. Also China and India have very lax enviornmental laws, so they can pollute the enviornnment very easily and save money that way. Don't you think this is a disgraceful and distructive policy to allow this happen?
