Yes, She will be a great president and restore the country from Bully Bush's ravages. She will also have the experience and advise of Bill Clinton. ~

Well it's kind of moot now since she's already running... but as a Democrat I'm not very happy about the idea of her being my party's nominee. She's an example of the kind of politician that turns people like me off - and I will not vote for her in the primary nor the general election. Just because she's a woman doesn't mean she isn't just another power hungry plastic politician that doesn't have a clue what it's like being an average American. She blows with the political winds - when the country was feeling conservative after 9/11 she became a total hawk, but now that the country has turned against the war she is doing her best to look like she's protesting the Bush policies. I can't stand people like her.

A good example of how politicians like this fail the Democratic party would be the last 3 elections for Minnesota Governor. The DFL (Democratic/Farmer Labour party of MN) has run three different career politicians in these elections - Skip Humphry, Roger Moe, and Mike Hatch. All three were established DFL leaders, and all three were terrible at showing they understand the average person. They all lost elections that a good DFL candidate would have easily won (Humphry lost to Jesse Ventura, Moe lost to Pawlenty, and Hatch lost to Pawlenty as well). There is no reason why the DFL should have lost - but by choosing a candidate that young Democrats like myself found unacceptable they lost a lot of votes to third party candidates. Had the DFL run Becky Lourey instead of Mike Hatch I am certain that they would have won the election... instead people like me voted for Peter Hutchinson (Independence Party) or Ken Pentel (Green Party). I am willing to "throw away my vote" on a third party if the Democrats continue to nominate people that I find repulsive. The same thing is very possible if the Democrats run Hillary Clinton for President.

I personally don't think Hillary should be running. It's not that I have anything against her, I just don't think she has any chance of winning. There is not a Republican on the planet that would vote for her and there are some Democrats that wont' vote for her. I think it is a very huge waste of money if she doesn't stand a chance of winning.

My personal view is that it will be a waste of time for her to run in '08. She has obvious problems, gender, personality, ties to Bill, lack of definitive policy, failure to demonstrate leadership ability during few years in Senate. The Dems feel they have a lock on the White House and everybody with any basis for support is running. This is going to dilute a lot of good people. My personal choice would be Edwards and Obama on a ticket.

She has the right to run for the white house.

If we elect her, we will just have another clinton to make a joke out of the whitehouse.

Depends on who you ask. As a conservative, southern Republican, I sure hope she does. Nothing gets out the Republican base like a whacko nut-job like Hillary running for national office.
