A bad thing about American populism is that if a politician is said to be someone who unites; that is a good thing, but if one is said to be a divider, then that is considered a bad thing.

Politics is division by definition, I want more division, and I want it to be sharper and more polarizing. What do you think?

I don't know what to exactly think of the guy. Honestly, I want Rudy Guiliani to become the next president. But to my question...

I think it's crazy that Obama's name will (or has already become) an issue to people. Again, I'm NOT a supporter of his but I just think it makes everyone look stupid when I see or hear posts, forums, media, etc saying how people won't vote for him b/c his name sounds like Osama and his middle name is Hussien. I'm a communications major so I understand the power of name in a messenger but still it just gets me that people would not consider him b/c of his name. Have we gotten that dumb? What if his name was American Jesus Christ? Would that make people feel better?

The question had absolutely nothing to do with terrorists or what they're suspected of doing, or how evil they are, or what you think of them. I don't think anyone doubts these are bad guys.

The questions was about the govt subverting the legal system by intimidating lawyers.

Can you guys read?

What if you committed an unspeakable crime? Would you want the govt to hassle your lawyer?
