America is one one the greatest places to live in the world. We have the freedom to express our thoughts in ways other country's can only dream of. The option to use every resource out there to better ourselves or the option to sit on our *** and do nothing. We consist of combinations of many races and TRY to coexist. When **** hits the deep end every country asks the same thing... WHAT WILL AMERICA DO? America is other countries combined in one that's what makes us different.

You are going to get a lot of goofy answers. I assume this is for homework so let me try and help.
America is younger than most countries.
America is more powerful than most countries.
America has more diversity than most countries (I know other countries have diversity, but the diversity in America is far more vast),
America has more wealth than most countries. Americans as a whole are more wealthy than the citizens of most other countries.
America has never had a monarch. (Yes, as a colony, we were part of England...as a sovereign nation, we have always been a representative republic).
America has never had a true class system.
If I think of more, I'll add them...I just wanted to get your started.

America is different because:
We can have as many girl babies we want and not forced to abandon them or to kill them.
We are blended with many ethnicities and having that give us experience with all sorts of food, culture, practices are more well rounded and less narrow minded.
We have the freedom of speech & religion, which some countries don't have. You don't get killed in America, when you exercise those rights.
We have more acess to health care & medicine, than some countries, and have less deaths due to outbreaks of illnesses than other countries that are less fortunate.

Honestly, the US is unique in that it's authority is peculiarly secular in origin, meaning no person in the government has religious power over the people. Beyond that, the ethnic and "racial" makeup of the US has only recently been mimicked by other states. We began as a collection of colonies, threw down the authority of the crown that ruled us, repelled the same state in a later war, expanded to become one of the largest land mass nations on the planet in record breaking time, and though are still a new state, have acheived a position of power unparallelled in the records of world history.

Handsome Devil is right. Also, it has so much diversity ! People from every corner of the globe call it home, and millions more are standing in line to get here. For all of its warts, this democracy works. People are assured of liberty and the pursuit of happiness.... now whether they seize the opportunity to pursue that happiness is often a thorn in the side of hard working Americans. Too many want to sit on their perfectly healthy and able butts and expect that happiness to just fall into their laps.

United States of America is the most industrialized country in the world. They have alot of power. Now they just have to use that power in a constructive manner, and not abuse it. Canada was voted 5 times the best country in the world to live in, but now ranks 6th place. and USA is ranked 8th place. Canada is always USA's 'sidekick'. Eveyone knows United States, for the power, economy, government, people, and major cities. What do people think of Canada?

We have the opportunity here to be anything we want, if we really work towards it, we can surmount any obstacle.....I know it sounds sappy, but it is true. Look at Chris Gardner(Pursuit of Happyness movie) You sure would not see this happen in say, England. You can really be whatever you want...if you try hard enough.

all countries are different therefore, America is unique too. It has an agressive policy for domination and all sciences advance towards that end. Military spending is the cornerstone of it's advancement. Great place with geographical diversity.
