An overwhelming majority of you vote Democrat, claiming that this party "helps" black people. I would like to know specifically how? I asked this similar question on a previous thread and did not get a good answer. Some of the answers included, "Democrats favor welfare, affirmative action, raising the minimum wage..." Do you as black citizens feel stereotyped by these statements? Like they think you can't get jobs so you need a program to "give" you a job (affirmative action)? Or they think that because you are black you are on welfare? Or if you have a job you are only making minuimum wage?

I find all of this incredibly insulting to the black population and wonder why more of you aren't speaking out against and voting against some of the elected officials who are promising you all of this stuff to get your votes?

I also want to ask, what do rich, white, elitist politicians like Hillary Clinton, Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Howard Dean and Al Gore have to offer you?

I am an US Citizen and got married in India on Nov. 17th. I already submitted a I-130 and received a receipt on Dec. 12th. I do not want to do the K-3 because she will come as a nonimmigrant. How long will it take my wife to come to US. The closest consular in India is Mumbai. One of my frineds did the I-130 last year and it took his wife 10months. Can someone please tell me. Thank You

Criminals getting umrela support from political people. Sometimes directly people joining politics with clear criminal background. Govt. employees becoming more corrupt with political backing. There is political interference rather than committment which hinders country's development to a large extent.

That 70% of Americans are spoiled? Referring to a poll taken that said 70% of Americans are unhappy with the direction of the country.

Do you agree or disagree and why?

Personally I would agree if it were in a differant context but saying that we're spoiled simply because we don't feel the current policies are leading us in the right direction is just wrong..

If you survey average men like, what, 1 out of maybe 10-15 males in the US have mustaches. Unless you check police officers. Then it's about 8 out of 10. A holdover from a bad 70's macho gene? (Meant to be a fun question, but you have to admit it's true. Has to be a reason.)

I read that Condi Rice's mother and father(who is a minister) did not want Condi raised amongst the "rabble rousers, thieves, murderers " (the Black element) because they wanted to shield her from such behaviors.
