well if you consider the fact that trickle down economics is basically the rich pissing down our backs. Then you might understand why.

Because the people with the assets that are supposed to let the economic gains trickle down for the most part DON'T. Greed and power are some hell of things.

it actually trickles just fine to the people who actually work and provide services.
By putting the government in charge of how money is spent, you get excess of crap people don't want and not enough of what people want (see communism)
Punitive taxes just kill industries. We have no more luxury boat industry because of a stupid tax to punish the rich. Guess what. The rich bought their boats (from foreign manufacturers) not only depriving the govt of its tax money but messing up all the boat builders. (Who would have been the beneficiaries of the so called 'trickle')
The strength of 'Trickle' down economies is you can get rewarded for doing things that people with money want. And a lot of those did actually earn that money and want to spend it on wt they want, not what the government wants.

It does for me. The only people who buy pianos and music lessons are nice people with money. I'm always happy when nice people are making money, because I know some will come to me.

Lmao well it surely does "trickle" and it surely does work. Its capitalism. On the other hand, socialism does not trickle in any sense of the word, it stagnates and fails
