Their hatred of Bush has gone well beyond just politics and into the country as a whole, and its damaging us overseas and at home

Understand these people (liberals) find life very confusing. They want to protect peoples rights, yet they want to restrict us with laws that invade our lives right down to smoking a cigarette in our own cars! They are opposed to high taxes on the working man, yet they constantly dream up new social programs that you and I must pay for! They rant about peace on earth, but when their own country leads that world and stands up to protect fellow human beings from being slaughtered, they call their own president a criminal! They talk of how you must live a free life, then they tell you what doctor to go to, what schools to attend, what your children will and will not be taught!
A perfect example is Martin Luther King day. Now it's o.k. if you believe this man to be some type of hero, or icon. From what we know he was a substance abuser, an unfaithful husband and a racist. Even if you were to ignore these facts, he still doesn't come close to the hundreds of people who we should be honoring. Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, any of our 43 presidents, Paul Revere, Thomas Edison, Henry Ford, there's thousands of people who more rightly deserve a holiday in recognition of their accomplishments!!

Shorty, as much as I agree with what you're saying, please don't call them names. It only takes you down to their level. Why do the dem.s hate America (as we know it) so much? Because "it's not fair!!!" They shouldn't have to work -- only the repub.s should have to do that! Instead, they want to be given everything, from the handouts of the government and take on the isolationist attitude our first president tried to press -- note -- 20% of the tax dollars were used to pay off the Barbary Pirates who were attacking U.S. ships and enslaving Christians (women and children -- men were killed. They were muslim). It took Thomas Jefferson, our third president to fix the problem by going after them with U.S. frigates and Marines. Hence, "From the halls of Monetzuma, to the shores of Tripoli..." They have no earthly idea what the cost will be. And incidently, socialism doesn't work. It goes against the very nature of capitalism. Capitalism promotes competition and self reliance.

It's beyond comprehension. I think they really hate themselves but are too dishonest to admit that. It's like misdirected aggression or something like that. They also blame-shift. What they gripe about is usually caused by them but they refuse to blame themselves and try to make it look like it's the fault of the innocent party.

Excuse Me, Liberals are not Communists. Although we are closer to Socialists, we do not hate America. You have been listenening to Bill O'reilly a little too much. I love America just as much as the next guy,..but I do not believe we are better than everyone else like most NeoCons do.
