American Samoa is being exempted from the minimum wage increase.Making it the only U.S. territory not subject to federal minimum-wage laws. Nearly 75 percent of the island's work force is employeed by StarKist Tuna.The average wage for tuna workers in American Samoa is $3.60 an hour. Starkist Tuna is headquartered in San Francisco...Nancy Pelosi home town.The Democrats argued Americans can't raise a family on $5.15 an hour and the minimum wage must be raised to $7.25 an hour. Did a generous campaign contribution to one Mrs. Pelosi save a company hundreds of thousands in employee wages... Hm mm.. Where is the media on this one?

According to national news the House of Representatives has passed the bill for Stem Cell Research. Thats great news!! But also according to national news Bush plans to Veto the bill yet agian!! Thats bad news!!! Stem Cell Research is essential to finding a possible cure for many many diseases including Spinal Muscular Atrophy, which is what my beautiful daughter has!! No one deserves to go through what this little girl has to go through everyday! If you want more information on the disease visit www.fsma.org.
Now what I want everyone to do is send me (via email) your full name, address, and any comments you may want the so called "president" to know and I will print out everything and send it to the white house along with a picture of my little girl just so he can see who he is hurting by vetoing this bill. So please do this for my baby and any other person in this world who may be searching for some kind of light at the end of that long dark tunnel!

that a person use the "spell check" ....other than that they KNOW that withOUT that spell check they THEMSELVES could not structure a two-sentence paragraph unless it was riddled with misspells?
(I posed a question earlier and purposely misspelled the word "president". I did it to bring attention to the question, not the word. Many ignored the question and focusted on the misspell.
I thought it was hilarious!)

my friend (female) believes that 1st off a canon if shot at a person will only break the leg, I told her it would rip you in half... who's right??? :)

Also she said that a canon coudn't penetrate an Elephants skin, it coudn't kill and Elephant. Primarily because the canon ball is blunt and large.

I told her it would most definetly kill and elephant if you shot one with a canon

why.. the canon ball weights ?? 20 lbs and is traveling about 1000 mph and that would equate to something like a million joules of energy on impact...

any way she is stubbon but then again I am too....

He has peeled off the 'Signed for label' which is to verify to the sender I received it. because he can't be bothered taking it back to the depot he's carefully peeled off the label and put it through my letterbox anyway.

This is 'mail tampering' at worst, and certainly fraudulant behavior as he will have had to fake a signature to take it off the tracking system.

Do I complain (this is the second time he's done it) and risk him losing his job...as the Royal Mail will start an investigation into an allegation this serious. (With evidence).

I know it was this kind of package as I know who sent it, and I have a tracking number - and he left the second part still on the back...

My ex is out of the country. While he was home for X-mas he pushed me around and hit me. I pressed charges. The state is charging him with Class A misdemeanor assault. Will they bring him back home to face charges or will they wait until his job is finished in March? Thank you

I think he would have to be at least AS good. He's got an equal amount of redneck, hillbilly, sh*tkicker appeal. Those dumb phrases like "smoke 'em out of their holes" and "wanted dead or alive" probably roll off his tongue just as naturally as they do with dubya.

He certainly can't be any dumber than W. and he's definitely more likeable. I'd find it a lot harder to hate Larry I think--- that's a plus, isn't it?

Beside our entire plan for the "war on terror" amounts to "Git er done" anyway. Would anyone even notice if Larry took over tommorow?

Just kind of curious if parents here think that JonBenet parents were overdoing with cute kids clothes that look like if they were few sized bigger a hooker would wear them, and lil heels, hair bleaching at age of 6 and tons of make up? Wouldnt all this attention really cause a lot of interest in perverts and pedofiles out there? Wouldnt this lil peagent was just set for a failure by her own parents? Maybe if anyone seen a movie "Running Scared" (2006) it kind of remind you of this case? Why father of this little girl when he found her dead body just took her upstairs messing with life evidence and forensics, changed her in fresh clothes and comb her hair? Doesnt this whole family seems freaky to you? And what about Burke (brother) everyone claims is definitely not a suspect? What makes it so definite? Why family refuses to take poli test anyways? What...we got something to hide? And whats up with these unprofessional roockie detectives and investigators being messy with evidence?

He's basically being beaten up constantly. He's at home right now, at the end of Christmas break. if he doesn't go back in 3 days he will be AWOL. Sorry to post on this again.
Parents have called his superiors. They say that there is "nothing they can do". Does that sound right??? If he goes back he will have phone priviledges taken from him, etc. Is the "zero hazing" policy just a joke? This is the Marines.

A family member took our car and we don't want to report it stolen just yet, We want to give him a couple days to bring it back so he doesn't have a Felony on him or anything. We didn't know how the insurance would be handled if anything happened while in his possession. Any body had a similiar circumstance?

I believe in working for something you really want in life,Im not rich by no means but there are things greater than wealth,I give to the poor and would take anyone in,however they have to earn my respect.Illegals dont care about America or they wouldnt come here demanding handouts.
