that a person use the "spell check" ....other than that they KNOW that withOUT that spell check they THEMSELVES could not structure a two-sentence paragraph unless it was riddled with misspells?
(I posed a question earlier and purposely misspelled the word "president". I did it to bring attention to the question, not the word. Many ignored the question and focusted on the misspell.
I thought it was hilarious!)

Sorry Chum, but those of us who have availed themselves of higher education, and therefore speak and write clear, concise English, but elect to waste their time in this forum, expect, perhaps in vain, that others who ask questions, do so with the same degree of skill.
I seldom use the spell check, as I seldom select a word that I do not know how to spell, or the use and definition. My use of punctuation, syntax and morphology is almost flawless, and as you can see, I am quite able to structure a two sentence paragraph.
To me, the poor use of the English language, by many of those who post questions, would be hilarious, were it nor for the fact that it reveals the extremely poor level of education, and thought processing ability of these ignorant cretins.
And your word "focusted".. was that a typo or a misspell? I'm betting the latter!!

It drives me insane, I hate when people can't spell right especially easy words like the, when, where, and using the correct form of there. It makes you look ignorant. It doesn't take a lot to hit the spell check which they provide for you and yet people still have questions loaded with simple mistakes a first grader would catch.

The only time I point it out is when it occurs in a question that calls President Bush an idiot. Like when some clown called him a "moran". Come on, how does one NOT swing at a hanging curveball like that?
If people misspell in a question that's NOT calling others stupid, I let that pass.

I will have to agree with you on this but it is done by both sides. the funny thing is in the details part of the question you cant use spell check...
however I will correct someone that is saying someone else is illiterate or cant speak.
IE. someone that is talking about how bush misspeaks all the time however while pointing that out uses incorrect grammar. I find that hypocritical and should be noticed.

Because we have spell check to assist us....some are not smart enough to use it. Some of the spelling on here is worse than a immigrant that can't write in English.....Just trying to help you out

Near as I can tell, and I have been here almost a year, Repuglicans are all English Teachers, or they just want to draw away from how dumb they really are by diverting the question to a spelling bee. And yes I have been misspelling repuglican since I got here.

I relate it to the fact that if one wants to sound intelligent and full of knowledge, one should act intelligently. Being lazy and lacking in basic spelling skills is not a good way to start a debate.

I'm one of the people who corrected your misspelled word. I answered your question as well. As I said before, it makes you look ignorant.

Actually people telling you to use the spell check is just their polite way of saying "you are stupid, learn to spell".
