Freshman congress members base pay @ $165,000 gets hiked to $168,500 if passed! Whats your base pay IF you have a income? Admit the truth like me " i do not have an income" been abused in the American workforce over 38 years This system sucks!

Some bills have been passed in the house, but until the Shiites and Sunnis opps! I mean the House and Senate agree on them nothing is law.

A minimum wage bill was passed but it's only applicable to "those" people who don't help out in a worthy [read Red Queen] cause.

The House has passed four major bills, one on the minimum wage raise, one on implementing the 9/11 commission recommendations, one on negotiating with drug companies on prescription drug prices, and one on expanding embryonic stem cell research. All in all, a lot of good fun stuff.
