Regardless of your political preference .... I don't think our president should be referred to as "Mr.", as newscasters, etc. commonly do. I would never call my doctor "Mr.." or "Mrs". This is a title rightly earned. Any one else agree?

Why do so many people think it's okay for Bush to ignore the wishes of the American people and do what only HE feels is right? Is America no longer a democracy? Do these people want to live in a totalitarian dictatorship?

when you say anti-american things, why do soms americans always say that we have no respect for them helping us during WW2?

have respect for America, but helping us in WW2 does not justify what they are doing to the world now...

right or not?

Its a prevalent theme and belief. And agreed, its shameful to go to war under false pretenses...it would have been better for Bush to have come clean, and give his real reason. Because truly, oil reserves ARE vitally important.

Would you have felt better about the war if you'd been told it was about controlling oil reserves?

How can most people here be opposed to a plan without hearing it first? How about waiting to hear what Bush says tonight before throwing darts at it?

Right now im a sophmore in college studying Criminal Justice.

I do not go to a really well known univeristy....a Division II school in the city of Detroit....

I hope to someday become a police officer then a detective.

I was looking at ways to get experience right out of college right away, so I looked at the Navy and noticed they had careers as Law Enforcement Officals for the Navy.

I was wondering if I go after I earn a degree, will I be ranked as a officer? or no because I did not attend the Navy Acad.

Im just looking to maybe join for a bit, to get some experience as an Police officer there, to help on a resume....another question...can you join for as long as you want, then drop out? or are you stuck in once you signed the contract??

Or this is a not a good idea? Still got 2 years left, just trying to think it all out...

Was the war in Iraq an excuse to grab Iraqi Oil for big profits for the Oil Companies and secure an American supply of Oil for the next thirty years.

This is sad if true as death was due to those whose greed is for Iraqi Oil.

I absolutely LOVE police officers!!! A fetish, if you will! HaHa! I've always loved them. Not just for their sexy looks and uniform, like all of the other women! I love them soooo much that I got a degree in Criminology and I'm going to be starting a new job as a Police Cadet with a local police dept. in California, next week! I'm sooooo excited! I have soooo much respect and admiration for them! I'm actually going to start law school soon, so I'll be working for them until then. But, deep down inside.....I would love to be a police officer...maybe even ride on the motorcycle!!! Soooooo Cool!!!

Anywho, so now that you know how much I love law enforcement officers, because of their sexy looks and of course the wonderful work that they do...answer me this!
If I'm out with some friends, and I passed my some police officers, so didn't seem too busy, do you think that they would be flattered if I came up and spoke to them and asked a get a picture with them?

The Leaders of the World give the President of the United States lots of respect, as it should be, but the respect currently is based mostly on The Office of the President of the United States and not based on the conduct of the current President of our beloved Country.
President W. Bush is a puzzle and a problem for a very large number of people in America, and apprently, the number of puzzled folks also includes his father.
George H. W. Bush who has recently and seemingly, over his son Bush W., broken down and cried like a baby twice in public while making a speeches.
It is just a sorry time for all of America.

“Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee founder President
of Bharatiya Jan Sangh was born in Calcutta on July 06,1901.Dr. Mookerjee was the greatest fighter for united India and a crusader against the communal politics of Muslim League. One should not forget that he played a crucial role in bringing down the Muslim League ministry in Bengal and forming a coalition Government of noncommunal Muslim and Hindus.
It was due to his strenuous efforts and untiring labour that the Hindu majority part of Bengal remained with the rest of India, and thus the State of West Bengal came into existence.
There was a tacit understanding between Dr.
Mookrejee and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel in solving the crisis in Hyderabad.
Syama Prasad Mookerjee, in his second public
visit to the state, entered J&K on May 9, 1953. Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee went to the border with Dr. Syama Prasad Mookerjee to see him off. Before entering into Kashmir
Dr. Mookerjee told Atalji to pass on his message to the entire country.

My husband and I got in an argument and I had the car keys and he told me to give them to him and I refused. He then came at me and tried to physically take them from me. He hit me in the face with one hand and tried to get the keys out with the other, so I bit his hand trying to get him off of me. I ran down the hall and started down the stairs but he caught up to me and pushed me down the bottom half of the stairs where I sliced my foot open on the railing. I have bruises on my body from falling on the stairs and on my arms from him grabbing me, as well as on my face from him hitting me. He probably has a mark on his hand from me biting him and maybe some bruises from me trying to get him off me. I thought about calling the police, but wondered if they would take us both to jail since I bit him. He also said that it was illegal for me to keep the keys from him. Is that true? If it is, does it make it okay for him to physically try to take them from me? Any help would be great. Thanks
