I see so many people on here that try and validate this forum by posting RACIST questions against-MEXICANS? I'm not mexican-I'm a 26 yr old white guy. I firmly believe in the U.S. but I live in Texas and some of my coworkers and good friends are hispanic. I've had very beautiful girlfriends that were mexican. I think others on this site accuse mexicans or whoever of playing the race card-but it looks to me as if it might be the other way around. They're playing this card to put down others.

This is a serious matter as I have been told that i must convert to Muslim before marrying in Iran otherwise if we have kids they will have no identity in Iran. My future kids (God willing) will not be able to enter into Iran they will need visas each time and my future husband will not be acknowledged by Iranian law as a father to the kids. Please help i need answers from people who know for certain the answer to my question. Many thanks in advance for your replies

Asian-Americans are the richest ethnic group in America. They even have a higher per-capita income than white Americans.

Does the fact that Asians are the most succesful ethnic group negate the need for Affirmative Action programs?

Hispanics are immigrants not a historically marginalized ethnic group, perhaps Affirmative Action should only be limited to Blacks?

I keep hearing how bad Hugo Chavez is but I look at what he is doing. Nationalizing the Oil industry and using the profits to fund social programs, health care and free college educations. He is doing a lot of good for the people of Venezuela. Does a countries natural resources belong to the people or just a select few? I don't like his anti American rhetoric but I respect what he is trying to do for his people.
Surely there can be a balance between Socialism and some of the ideals that America holds to like free speech, etc, etc. When the top 1% own 90% of the wealth and we have people in this country that can't even get basic medical care because they can't afford health insurance in criminal. Former Ford CEO Lee Raymond just got a 400 million dollar severance package while ford cuts jobs and closes plants. Is the mantra of capitalism and free enterprise an excuse to shaft the overwhelming majority of Americans?
