Besides enslaving the American taxpayer and filling our ears with more empty promises?

Based on what we've seen in Iraq, isnt more troops going to mean more of a violent mess?

If you cannot answer the question without baseless liberal bashing please do not go to any lengths to show your ignorance.Thank you.

Nothing. Bush is too stupid to realize that Iraq is in the midst of Civil war and sending more troops mean giving the terrorists more targets. The problem in Iraq is not a military problem. But his brain is too small to fathom that.

We'll hear tonight. Sounds like we don't have enough manpower for the job and he's going to increase it.

Interesting, though - if he keeps doiung the same thing, he's wrong, and if he changes course he's admitting a mistake. So those whose entire geopolitical outlook is based on criticizing this president are guaranteed to have something to complain about, no matter what. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. And people wonder why Bush doesn't pore over every editorial in the New York Times! I'm glad Reagan ignored the Democrats too - he should have done so even more!

What is the alternative being proposed? Redeployment, withdrawal, what? If it makes no sense to send more troops then why does it make sense to keep the ones we have there? Let the Democrats have the courage of their convictions and say "this is not working, and we need to just leave." Especially if it's "been tried and failed" as has been claimed. Yet they say it's putting words into their mouths when that's pointed out. Why?

We all knew this was coming. Any intelligent person knew that more troops would be required. We are there for the long haul unfortunately. We have to set up a puppet government that we can control in the future. It seems like they want a more violent mess. All Bush is good for is empty promises.

Look I just heard Senator McConnel (r) on CNN and he says we have to succeed in Iraq or we will be fighting them in the streets of America. Right they will all pile into a 1958 Chevy and we will all die. I must say that is utter bullshet, it's morons like this senator that are as big a danger to us as the terrorists. He treats Americans like we are idiots, there were no terrorits til we invaded Iraq with too few troops which opened the country to chaos, which made it ripe for terrorists et al to exploit.

I consider "sms" the human beings are better loose now, yet obviously there are countless radical muslims there spreading sedition. a lifeless ringer for Hamas in Palestine. the international needs to band mutually to get rid of this terrorist communities and human beings can stay in peace and not in any respect in concern. less than Saddam, no reporter would have thrown a shoe till he changed into prepared to be complete mutually such as his complete relatives. are you able to spot someone throwing a shoe at Iran's President?

Sending in more troops has already been tried and failed. This is a last ditch effort by our president not to go down in history as having started the second Vietnam for America. It will fail, as have all Bush initiatives, and he will be delegated as being the most hated and least popular president in the history of our country. (He currently occupies that position, history will make it permanent)
