This is a serious matter as I have been told that i must convert to Muslim before marrying in Iran otherwise if we have kids they will have no identity in Iran. My future kids (God willing) will not be able to enter into Iran they will need visas each time and my future husband will not be acknowledged by Iranian law as a father to the kids. Please help i need answers from people who know for certain the answer to my question. Many thanks in advance for your replies

I have a family member who married a Muslim man . She didn't have to convert . She lives in Bahrain with her husband and 4 children. She and her family took a vacation to Iran this past summer. I also have a female friend in Egypt. I had asked her previously about marriage to a Muslim. She told me they can marry a christian woman. I don't really know about what it is like in Iran though one man wanted to marry my cousin so she had to be taken quickly out of the country. Sorry I couldn't help much.

where will you guys live? here in the states? if so, then i don't think that it will be a problem.
if you just convert for the reasons above, are you really converted? i don't think so. i don't think that your husband would want a fake conversion.
as for issue number
1. marry in the states. and bring the video. just have a celebration in iran
2. then just get visas. i don't know how long you will have to wait, but that's when you have to plan your visits long term.
3. but in your hearts and biologically, they are his kids. it's a safe precaution for you too in the event that (not to say it will happen) but iran doesn't really recognize mother's rights don't they? he won't be able to force then to stay there.

Well, why doesn't your husband covert to Christianism. That way, you would both be Christian and your children as well and you would be treated as foreigners in Iran.
But why not stay somewhere else? Why Iran? It is unfair that any of you should give up your religion, in the end. There must be some way out...

I would suggest perhaps moving somewhere besides Iran. Sorry, I don't know enough about it to be more helpful.
