Under the circumstances, he is doing the best he can with what he has to work with. At least he's not disgracing the Oval Office with some interns and asking what the definition of "Is" is! Cut him some slack people.
He inherited the problems he has been forced to deal with and has stood his ground while trying to work on the best solutions to these problems. If 9/11 occurred while Clinton was in office, there would have been more attacks on US soil. Bush did what he had to do to show that we wouldn't take such an assault lying down.
What would you have done in his position?

President Bush is the President of the United State of America, the greatest country of the world. He has been as good as of leader as he possibly could after our country suffered from one the tragic events that ever happened on U.S. Soil. A lot of people disagree with his views and choices. Some even think he's evil and using this war for personal gain. Movies have been made about this. No one stops and concidered if none of this is true (which is more likely then BEING true) how much he has been thru. He was elected president and our country was attacked. He was put in a position to go to war or not go to war, with basically no enemy. He is the leader of a great country, and everyone should back him at least a little, and represent your country.

Well, by fighting wars in Afghanistan and Iraq needlessly, he has killed at least 150,000 civilians, created opportunities for infighting and destabilization and has destroyed Baghdad's ability to function as a capital. He has helped through his foreign policy to create a situation in which car bombings, retaliation and guerilla warfare occur. This may lead to a civil war. To be fair, there were social and political problems to begin with, along with the policies of Saddam Hussein. He was simply made the matter worse.
I don't feel that the involvement in Somalia is necessary, but the defense minister and the President have voiced support for the American campaign against what I would call--" das mecca des Königreiches des internationalen Krieges". In other words, it is sanctioned internationally. The U.N. is a useless umbrella organization that should be reformed or replaced with new, effective leadership. Also, I do not support the war in Afghanistan.
That said, I listen to radio from different countries and different papers and essays on the Net. There is a certain paranoia and lack of objectivity. Reading Haaretz can help clarify some things. As well, keep an open mind. The strikes should be a last way out, only focused on the destruction of nuclear sites, not at civilians.
Every other way must be decided. It is from a clash between American foreign policy, the Old Soviet Empire, the policies of certain Middle Eastern countries, not the people and soldiers. I feel that to deal with what I call "Irre im Himmel--östlich vom Fluß", they must be tough but try to avoid war. There needs to be an international crackdown on terrorist activity and insurgents, but not through these wars.

President is a good, solid, decent man who is trying to do the right thing and getting much more mud thrown at him than he deserves. I do not approve of some of the things that he has done, I very much approve of others. I think that he has behaved himself quite well for a President that inherited the problems he's had to face. He was the first President to face an enemy attack of our home soil since 1812, and responded magnificently.

Well you should not hate someone for their way of leading a country. I mean after all you Republicans all voted for him! As a president I don't admire his opinions or the way he solves things. In real life he is a little ditsy but... you know he's Bush.

I dont agree with everything he does, but I dont hate him like a lot of people seem too. I dont like his stance on illegal immigration, but I wont get all crazed at his policies for the war in Iraq, we can blame him if we want to but it is not all his fault that things arent going well. We can say a democratic leader would do better but they wouldnt, unless you call better cutting and running. I stand by our president even when he makes a bad desicion, its not fair of me to judge because I have no idea how hard his job really is. I bet you will get lotsa liberal Bush bashers answering this question, so I would like to pose a question to them, "Do you think you could do better?" if you say yes I only wish you could be given the chance to back it up because I bet a vast majority of you cannot.

Bush.....haha, where do I start....ok. He's a intolerable prick who only thinks about power, economy and his personnal investment. He starts war that can't be won. he make enemies we don't want. To me, he's no more than Hitler... Why can't people just get along. I think americans are to patriotic to realize this..

well, he's not my president. But he's always on the news over here. He's like my Prime minister (tony blair) Their both pretty crap. They got both of our countries into a war which (and i qoute) "would last no longer than a month." But that was about 5 years ago when i was still in Junior school. Now i'm about to leave school compleatly, i think it's over-run just a tad don't you?
