Since the Democrats took over the house, Nancy Pelosi has instituted a new policy that requires congressmembers to work 5 days per week rather than the previous schedule which was present while the Republicans were in controlled which was 3 days per week. Is this fair for our congressmembers?

I can't think of a reason in the world why they should not work like the rest of us. How many of us only work 40 hours a week, anyway? How many of us put in long days at work and then come home and mow the yard, do the laundry, clean the house, prepare dinner, etc? Do you think the members of Congress do their own chores? I don't. I think they should work AT LEAST 40 hours a week. When have they EVER refused themselves a pay hike? After retirement, they get their full salary for life. The least they can do is work like the average American.

Are you kidding me? What is wrong with a five day work week for elected officials? Is that overworking them? Sigh. Considering the state of the country, one would think they'd voluntarily work 7 days per week to straighten out the mess they've ALL made of things!

Yes, let them work 5 days a week like most other
of the working class today. They already get paid
more than they deserve (and I might add, there's
is for a lifetime). Wouldnt that be nice? Of course,
we taxpayers pay for all that>
