especially since it is so easy to make people say two different things to the "same question". Such as this, "Do you support illegal immigrants getting welfare from our government?" Most say no, but then i may ask, "Do you support children who are illegal immigrant's to getting food and shelter from our government?"

I agree that the death penalty should be brought back to England for certain crimes. The chances of getting the wrong person for a crime is now 0% in my opinion. Why should animals be allowed to live like Ian Huntley.Would you loose any sleep if he was dead?I thought not. What do you think

Lets make a positive and negative list of all that Bush has done. Then people will be more educated about what Bush is really all about.

Before I ask my question, please dont get my question wrong, it is well meant.

A question please.....WMD did not exist, saddam was a monster, i agree, oil comes into the mix obviously

Bush did what he did for his own agenda

Saddam was responsible for wicked things, the world knows that

But does the " winner " have no responsibilty........300,000 people died

most of them just people like you and i.....and 3,000 good american kids

How do the american voters feel about that please?

He was only slightly more evil than Bush and he was certainly a lot more intelligent. Sure, he likes to invade other countries, but so does our president.

I don't agree with Bush's decisions to go into Iraq but some people do so I respect their opinions. However I do think Bush has a lot to answer for as he has gone to war even though many Americans didnt want to.

Do you think if he were the leader of a 3rd world country he would suffer the same fate as Sadam? But because he is the President of the US he will get off scott free?

I personally believe (to a certain extent) this is the case.

I hope that our country is able to look beyond his race and foreign policy inexperience. The man is a fresh voice and is concerned about real problems here at home. He will not abandon foreign policy or be afraid to use our military, he just won't abuse it. Our country needs a man like Barack to lead us back to the glory that we once knew.

Every year Billions are spent of weapons and the military. This is true of all countries, and although I agree with having a good defense I do think too much is spent on war. (Obviously this wouldn't be a problem if we didn't have terrorists etc)

My point is this. If we spent that money on other things we could have achieved so much more by now. I think we could have started to colonise space, cured more diseases, and stopped homelessness.

So this is my question:

If we had used the money elsewhere, what do you think we could have acomplished? (if anything)

Neither did the question that looms most obviously over the execution as far as Socialist Worker is concerned: If Saddam Hussein deserved to be hung, then what about the leaders of the U.S. government, who ordered two barbaric onslaughts on Iraq, linked by more than a decade of the strictest economic blockade in history?

When will George Bush--Junior or Senior--or Dick Cheney or Donald Rumsfeld or Colin Powell or Condoleezza Rice or Tony Blair or Bill Clinton and Al Gore stand trial?

Saddam Hussein is accused of responsibility in the deaths of many thousands. The Iraqi victims of the U.S. war machine number in the millions.

When Baghdad fell in 2003, the media filled the airwaves with images of Hussein’s palaces and the luxuries he enjoyed amid a devastated and impoverished country. The U.S. occupiers moved into those palaces--and almost four years later, the lives of most Iraqis have grown more impoverished.
