it's the same across all the military branches...
an enlisted person is just that, enlisted. Typically they have little to no college and are trained as the worker bees in their particular field.
A warrant officers include ranks between enlisted and normal officer ranks. Typically warrant officers start out as enlisted men and eventually join the ranks of the warrant officers.
Officers are college grads who go to the military and try to lead men who know what they're doing and have been doing so for years. These guys can do few things right, and usually need a warrant officer or senior enlisted person to straighten their asses out.

The answer changes somewhat based on which army or service.
An enlisted man ( also called an NCM - Non-commissioned Member) is anyone who is not an officer. Officers are "commissioned" by the government or the head of the government (ie, Queen) and it is that commission that gives them the legal right and duty to command other soldiers.
Non-commissioned officers are usually enlisted members of rank sargent and above who hold authority over other soldiers. They cannot legally issue orders except as to execute orders from a commissioned source.
Warrant officers in British Style forces are Senior NCOs that are granted a Warrant from the crown that is similar to a commission. RSMs, CSMs etc are usually Warrant Officers.
In the US, Warrant Officers serve as technically proficient soldiers. For example, during the Viet Nam Conflict the Army could not get enough officers to fly helicopters. They created the Warrant Officer rank in order to have enlisted pilots.
Hope that helps.

Well the person above explained it very well. In the Navy a Warrant Officer is someone who was an enlisted man and then was promoted. White hats (enlisted men) show them respect because warrant officers started out as enlisted. They are also some of the most knowledgeable and capable officers.
Regular officers come aboard and then have to go through additional training before they are given any real responsibility. (such a standing watch on the bridge and being in charge of the ship).

Officers are the ones who command troops. Warrent Officers are between officers and the enlisted, who are specialists at what they do, like copter pilots, criminal investigators, logistics experts, etc. Warrent officers ran higher than any enlisted man, but they are below the lowest ranking commissioned officer [2Lt.].The enlist is comprise of senior and junior non commissioned officers who actually are the backbone of the army. They do the bulk of the physical work.
