I hope that our country is able to look beyond his race and foreign policy inexperience. The man is a fresh voice and is concerned about real problems here at home. He will not abandon foreign policy or be afraid to use our military, he just won't abuse it. Our country needs a man like Barack to lead us back to the glory that we once knew.

ABSOLUTELY!!! A lot of people are criticizing him for his age, but I believe he is someone we've been waiting for for quite some time now!

Honestly, I don't think he stands a chance in hell of winning. Why would he run for president anyway? Who would vote for him? Blacks? I'm not trying to be mean, I'm just being realistic. Maybe another candidate who stands a better chance (Hillary) should run for prez and then should choose Obama as the running mate.

Also, I agree that his name would turn potential voters off. It sounds too much like "Osama".

So far I don't mind what I've seen of him, but I hardly think he's experienced enough to run for the presidency.
I guess it couldn't be any worse than having a very experienced but blithering idiot in there, now could it?
I guess I won't worry much if he does get elected. It should be fine as long as he (or whomever we select) surrounds himself with good people. That's been one of Bush's biggest problems -- he failed to do it.

Americans will never elect a Commander and Chief with a Muslim terrorist sounding name. Even the nit wit Teddy Kennedy can't get it right calling him Barack Osama Obama.

Off course his full name is Barack Hussein Obama. Rumor has it Sadam Hussein had a 3rd son...could Barack be the missing son? LOL

I like him. He has huge mass appeal with younger voters who normally won't vote because they have to choose between the lesser of two evils. I wouldn't underestimate him. I think he has a really excellent shot.

He has a snowballs chance in hell. Are pigs flying these days? He is a politician, and like all others, in the end will fail on what he says his beliefs are.

I agree with everything you say, I'm just not sure if he's ready yet. But he has a great future ahead of himself if he keeps on the straight and narrow.

I've never heard of him. I'm not trying to be mean. I've never heard him or seen him before. Who is he?
