I think that the death penalty is wrong. Especiallt in young teens. IT'S TRUE. There was a sixteen year old boy who was executed for killing a woman in a robbery. Another injustice was where a fifteen year old boy was waved into adult court and found guilty, for pointing an empty gun at a bunch of kids who were beating the hell out of him. While the so recognized as "smart" ones sit and say he's leaning a lesson, I say; Why the **** would you put a kid in prison for defending himself. I bet the other kids are sitting back laughing at him. All that is, is just teaching that bullies should bully, and the victim will get blamed. I mean really, who IS the victim? The kid or the bullies? [What do you think? Tell in your post.]

As for the death penalty... If someone kills someone and they get the death penalty, isn't that like the whole state committing murder. At that, under OUR name are we killing them.

It was reported that Fidel Castro is terminally will, and that he would be dead within a year or so. However, it was recently said that a Spanish doctor exained Castro and said that he would likely make a full recovery and be able to lead Cuba again.

Do you think he will be back? If so, when? What do you think his medical condition is?

I have an interesting question concerning overtime pay in the state of Virginia. My wife is a nurse (Hourly pay) who is given an "on-call" cell phone for 1-2 weeks at a time. She is constantly on the thing when she has it dealing with issues at work and talking to doctors. She is also required to stay in town on these days in case she has to go in for some reason.

I am a manager myself and I believe that she is due compensation for the time she spends on the phone with work. I cannot find supporting regulations for this though (probably do not know where to look) and wonder if any of you know where to find the info.

Thanks

My fiance is currently on probation for felony sposal abuse. He is not supossed to contact his ex although he has a son with her. He is ordered to be on probation for 4 yrs and has completed 2 yrs and is up for early dismisal. She has been contacting him via email and informing him he is a horrible father for not being around for his son. *Problem is he is ordered not to make contact! She is threatening to have his parental rights revoked. My fiance is really hurt! He loves his son and wants him to be a complete part of his life! We can't contact her or respond because it is against his probation. She is also saying her husband would love to adopt his son considering (my fiance) doesn't want anything to do with him. "NOT TRUE!" WE...want to see his son!! But, he is not suposed to make contact....What does my (fiance) do???

Is it his Churchillian good-looks, his love of lager, or his wonderful broguish Yorkshire accent (I think it's Yorkshire, anyway)?
What does this man have that the rest of us don't?
And why was he never Prime Minister?
Come on everbody. Vote "William" at the next election, whoever he represents, because, really, he represents us all.

then why are we fighting Al Qaeda in Somalia again when we cut and ran out of there over 10 years ago? Does this show yet again that the only way to defeat our enemies is to defeat them?

Should we should send thanks President Clinton for not doing your job and defending us? He sprinted out of Somalia and we have to go back. He did nothing to enforce the Gulf War cease fire with Saddam. He also did nothing to pummel Al Qaeda after all the attacks against Americans.

2 parents, 1 kid (2-yr-old). Wife is pregnant. Do we rate anything bigger than a 2 bedroom house? Right now we live in a 2-bdrm house and have been told by base housing that the rule is we are stuck like this until the oldest is 6-years( if the youngest is opposite sex) or 10-years (if they are the same sex).

The other option is moving out of base housing and buying a house, but thats a little more difficult.

It is very common practice of the US to launch missile air strikes against populated areas if they think someone wanted is hiding there somewhere, and usually they kill the guy but they also kill many innocent civilians. After that, the US officials say they are sorry(not), and case closed. And they don’t care because it was “3rd World” Nation civilians.
How about if a “3rd World” Nation wanted someone and thought the guy was hiding in a US town, then send a “3rd World” cruise missile to blow up that US town, and then just say sorry, and case closed?
Would the US send a cruise missile too if that wanted guy was hiding in Paris, or somewhere in China?
How about if the US suspected a wanted guy was hiding in a US town would they send a missile to blow the town up, then no criminal repercussions, no monetary “compensations”, and just say sorry, and case closed?

they demand that Pres Bush gets their approval for him to fight this war on terror. Pres Bush is the Commander in Chief of the military. He was elected president and it is his war to fight.

Where does Ted Kennedy get off saying that Congress must be consulted first? They have no authority to even ask this.

I thought liberals want to defend the Constitution.

In 2004 the top one pecent of tax payers those making over $1 million per year got the bigest tax cuts. Taxes for the middle class went up not down.
