The U.N. has essentially done nothing well ever since it was created after the end of WWII in 1945. It is also easy to understand why, too. With no independent army of its own, the United Nations has no power to enforce the rules and decrees which it has passed. The U.N. constantly has to rely on the intervention of U.S. and other allied forces before it can accomplish anything.
To me, the U.N. is a joke. They can pass whatever laws they might want, but since they will never be able to enforce them, no one bothers to pay attention to them.

The UN has become impotent because of its own structure. It is mainly controlled by the global powers who are in opposition with each other (U.S., Russia, China, France, UK), who have their own interests and agenda. These global powers exercise their own opposing veto powers to any resolution. On the other hand, the rest of the smaller nations do not have veto powers. The result is that any agreed resolution can never really be considered neutral. This often lead to stalemates in enforcing resolutions.

Why when one thinks of U.N.-one should think about wars-military,bombs only etc. How much of good, organisations like UNICEF--FAO-WHO-UN CULTURAL/EDUCATINAL ORGANISATIONS have done? Instead of thinking of creating conducive atmosphere to enhance its moral obligations, what is the use of having Negative thinking?

They stopped the fighting between Israel and Hezbolah. Sure, the UN is a puppet of globalist powers, but if you're going to bark up that tree, you can't stop halfway... you have to admit that they are only puppets of globalists and they do the best they can while there are also bad things they may do, directly and indirectly.

The UN has become completely irrelevant and should be dissolved, and Kofi Annan was a totally incompetent leader, Secretary General.

It is completely corrupt. And we have to fund most of it.
John Bolton was starting to clean it out when the Democrats forced him to leave.
The Democrats want the UN Corrupted.
And they will destroy anyone who tries to end the corruption.
IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY & POWER.
