I recieved a speeding ticket and it is gonna cost 135 to pay. I called the Judge and she told me to send in 109 for defenisve driving? Is this what I am paying for, I have seen online classes for Texas that are 25 bucks. Is the 109 that I am gonna send for the defensive driving class or should I call them back to make sure what this really is?

I am taking a Spanish1 course in high school and intend on taking Spanish classes into collage. I have never used my language skills outside of class. When do you suppose I will have to speak Spanish everday just to get around in American society? Has there always been this many Spanish-only speakers in America, or is the number getting higher every year? If so, by how much?

full with oil midle east was helped by modern nation to explore oil. unfortunately certain tribe got control on profits and now situation has come that they have made virtually a big part of humanity as slaves with no democratic rites; natural resouces belong to all humanity. is not it time for united effort by world nations to intervene and help ongoing tribal and clan based killings which are dauly going on there. ist step must be to bring all democracy and new democratic educted non-family owned governments in all region.

Pelosi on National Security: I Surrender All


The late President Ronald Reagan once said, "Those who would sacrifice freedom for security have embarked on [a] downward path." Under the new Liberal leadership, this is the likely fate of America's defense policy. In an alarming provision of H.R. 1, a bill that claims to make the country "safer" since 9/11, liberals have rushed language to the House floor that would surrender a key aspect of our homeland security to the United Nations. At risk is the country's Proliferation Security Initiative (PSI) which allows America and its allies to intercept the transport of weapons of mass destruction (WMD) in international waters and on foreign soil. For four years, 14 countries have committed to work together in successfully disrupting the delivery of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons. Rather than expand a program that has prevented the global distribution of WMDs, Democrats are asking Congress to relinquish all control of PSI to the United Nations. Allowing the Security Council of the U.N. to govern the program would jeopardize the intelligence, routes, and methods used to keep terrorists at bay--as well as complicate issues of American sovereignty. What's more troubling is that the Democrats are willing to defer our interest in national security to a body that counts Syria and Pakistan among its members. Despite the leadership's claims, this is one measure in a long line of legislation aimed at globalizing America's national security. For the safety of our liberties and our land, contact your representatives and urge them to vote "yes" on the Republican Motion to Commit on H.R. 1, which would remove this detrimental language from the policy.

What's even more bizarre is the fact that, if a woman just gave birth to a baby and then, the next day, she killed him or her, she would be arrested and charged with murder. Yet, if she did the same thing only months earlier, she would not be arrested and charged with murder!

Now, if I were to stab a pregnant woman in the stomach and kill her and the unborn child, I'd be arrested and charged with double homicide. Yet, this same woman can kill that unborn child and she isn't arrested or charged with homicide!

In the Scott Peterson case, he was found guilty of murdering not only his wife Lacy, but their unborn child Conner. However, in the United States, if Lacy was the one who murdered her own unborn baby, a.k.a. abortion, she would not have been arrested and charged with murder. Why is that?

And please don't use the utterly worthless "It's her choice because it's her body" defense because you can't have it both ways!

I have a friend in Texas and he invited a long time friend (who is 17) that he met over the internet to his hotel. She went willingly as they were talking about this for a long time. However, this was done without the consent of the parents. Now the parents are threatening to file charges against him, but what law did he break? I'd like to help him out here...was it enticement of a minor? Any help appreciated, thanks.

Living in America, many times we just accept that we are a free nation, because we've heard it all our lives. Over the past ten years I've seen many of our freedoms slowly taken away in the name of security and many people are OK with this because they think they can sleep at night without fear of being taken over by some radical group. And yet, some would say that we ARE being taken over by some radical groups - just more slowly and less violently than feared - the theory of gradualism. If you put a frog in a pot of hot water, it will struggle to get out and die trying. But, if you put a frog in a pot of cool water and slowly turn the heat up - it will slowly boil to death - without a struggle.

Some of the questions may well make you mad but you don't have to answer! In fact if you didn't, people would discontinue asking them! I like to read some of the questions and some of the ansers here because some of the military who answer seem quite knowledgeable. On the other hand, I find it distasteful when a military man or woman calls someone out of their name because they have said something you don't like. It's only because they are ignorant,

I was kicked off WIC which provided formula for my baby and I'm a single mother goin back to school and cant afford to buy my own formula. I was kicked off WIC because they had so many Illegal Mexicans apply so me being American they took me off. The Mexicans had job I did not The mexicans had a home I did not this is abunch of crap when the illegal aliens take away from our children. This needs to change I believe we should block all the borders and keep them out why hurt our own for the ones who cant even fill out a paper to get citizenship. This country has homeless people who cant get a job due to no address but a mexican without citizenship can almost choose their jobs. This need to change. I want to be the first woman pres and I'll take care off the Dirty Mexicans and other illegal aliens.
