I personally believe that the whole war in Iraq is a web of lies. Things are just so screwed up over there that NOBODY knows what to really do. I mean hello!!?? Those Islamic terrorist don't give a rats @ss if they die. They see death as honorable and as part of a great cause that is good. It doesn't matter how many of them we kill. Also those terrorist are scattered all across the globe. There is NO such thing as finding all the terrorist and killing them. Sending more troops is not going to solve any problems all its going to do is cause more of our troops to die. I PERSONALLY believe that there is no one way or good way to solve the situation in Iraq. There will NEVER be peace in Iraq I have heard Bush in his speeches sometimes speak about peace there. Has there ever in the worlds history been peace in the middle east??? Absolutely not. So why should there be peace now? The media just makes the whole situation worse and also I don't believe that us American people are getting the WHOLE NITTY GRITTY whats REALLY going on in Iraq.
As for Bush not being a good president he has adviser's to HELP him when it comes to things like this. Its NOT TOTALLY his fault when he makes bad decisions unless he is ignoring what his advisor's are saying then it is his fault. I don't think the advisers really know what to do either. I think he could be a more effective president if the people around him are better at doing there job. Bush is only as strong as his cabinet is.

This will be answered over a dozen times before I get to submit. However, it isn't just Iraq--although that's obviously a major issue. Just ask yourself about the GENERAL climate of this country, world opinion, & what he's done to improve ANYTHING.
We're in debt over our heads. Working parents are homeless, children are starving, there's no adequate health care, no plans to improve the environment, or the so very simple way to be less dependent on other countries for energy, & I won't go on. Whoever "takes over" will never be able to clean up the mess in one term, & will be blamed for not doing so. Truth be told, he isn't the "brains" behind anything. Think what it would be like with Cheney. I haven't a clue who I'd choose for the next president, but I don't believe anyone could be worse. & let this go out in cyberspace because I just don't care. His "new" idea is to open people's mail without warrant or justification. Is this a dictatorship? I can hardly wait for the thumbs own, & it won't bother me a bit. They'll all be pro-Bush.
Edit: princessa made some good points, however, WHY are others making decisions for him? No further comment.

His pathetic dumbness is the reason we are in a war with Iraq. and now he's sending another 20,000 troops over there to die..Good--my dog could do a better job.. a rock would do a better job.. He cares about nobody but himself and his rich supporters.. He's an idiot and why people still support him and say he's a good President is beyond me... He has done NOTHING to prove he is worthy of being in his position.

This is my opinion only, but I don't think he is a good president. He won his first presidency by the Supreme Court and the second one because he didn't have a good person to run against him.

GW is a great president. He's got cast iron balls, just like the cavemen he is engaging.
The new congress may castrate him, but they will NOT castrate the enemy.

He is not just a bad president, he is a bad american. He doesn't care about this country, he only cares about taking care of himself and his buddies. How do I feel about him? Well, sort of the same as when I ran over an opossum in the road last summer......everytime I see him or see him speak I want to heave.

The media is spewing a whole bunch of anti-war propoganda and not showing anything good happening, like new schools or anything like that. Bush shouldn't get blame for dislodging a ruthless dictator, he should be applauded.

Both, and lots of other reasons, too! He doesn't care, he doesn't even pretend to care about this country or its people. He only cares about his corrupted, super rich cronies!***

i think the guy has been terribly misinformed and is told what to say by advisors and told what to do by advisors, i don't think it is humanly possible to screw things up as badly as things have gotten by himself.
