Why is it that so many Americans and Canadians get upset when George Bush intervenes to stop Saddam's reign of terror in Iraq, but then the same people get upset when he refuses to intervene in Darfur to stop the genocide that has already killed a quarter million people? I'd like to see what far-fetched explanation the Bush bashers will use to explain themselves there!

Listen....who can possibly believe in the Bush administrations goals In Iraq ? Few are that blind....or ignorant...how can anyone support the US military as they ride the SUICIDE TRAIN to nowhere in IRAQ?

The USA is a sick War Monger nation that will be defeated any time it choses to fight a war such as this.

The Bush Admin has disgraced our military and every citizen of the world with this pathetic WAR.

We deserve to lose...we will lose...we should lose....because we started the war on a lie......the USA has been captured by flag waving idiots that are just making things worse in IRAQ.

The USA will be worn down and crushed in IRAQ....the sooner the better.. we will leave a trail of EVIL , DEATH and Destruction in our wake as we did in Vietnam. All citizens of the world will be proud when the rotten hearted, empty headed americans are flushed from IRAQ and emptied into the sewer

know that he has not taken my talking to him seriously. Now I feel I have no choice but to call the police the next time I am sure that drugs are in his room or that someone is here to purchase...by the way in this (glorious) state that I reside I CANNOT KICK HIM OUT...IT IS THE LAW... under 18 you cannot lock them out..for they have the right to break into the house w/o any charges being brought against them!! He is very disrespectful toward me and uses all laws against me....Now I feel it is time to put an end to this CRAP...and turn him in...I told him to keep the **** away from this house and he is just testing me...I did not like the idea and that is why I sternly told him to stop or I will turn him in or he needs to stop living here. thank you all for your numerous responses on my initial question!!!

Should every American have access to affordable health care? Many countrys have it and they do not appear to be on the verge of collapse or anything, why would it not work here? Curently there are 45 million people without access to affordable health care. Is this no a shame in a country as rich as ours that we do not take care of these people ?

After all, they're just two sides of the same coin.

Granted that we all know 'Indians' turned out to be a misnomer, forcing a new lable on people isn't something I want to do either. Over the holidays someone at a dinner I was at said they had been told that Native Americans preferred to be called 'Indians' which is why that reference rather than 'Native American' is to be found on most of the casinos.

I was wondering, is that true?

I thought that if you were arrested for anything that you had to be read your rights. The first time my daughter was arrested in Rockport, In, where her ex-father-in-law is the town jailer, she was arrested for pushing her ex-mother-in-law. They did not read her the miranda rights then. She is behind in her child suport, and although they take 40% of the gross of her paychecks, she was told to come down and see her little girl, not to worry about the child support. Well, you got it, she goes to see my little granddaughter, who has just talked to her mommy and expecting to see her, and they arrest for non-payment of child support. She was not read her rights again. Are you supposed to have your rights read to you in Indiana when you are arrested or is it just a tv thing?

[Note, I'm speaking for my father]
What options do I have at this time in my life to bring income. I'm too old to work in the field picking fruits and vegatables. I injured my leg in a sawmill and can no longer work on my feet. I speak very little English, I'm 55 years old, my parents only kept me in school until the second grade (because they couldn't afford it for me).

I get 200 dollars a month from social security. What are my options at this point?

My fiance found out recently that his ex wife had told his children that he is not their biological father. He is wondering if he will have to keep paying child support if they are not, and what he will need to do to get them tested. He knows of fathers who have had to keep paying regardless. He is very upset and heartbroken, but does not want to remain a slave to his ex wife if he is not their father. Please advise if you have any insight or advice on where he can get some legal advice. Thanks!

My daughter divorced a man in a small Indiana town. His father is the town jailer and works and fishes with the judge. His mother grown up with the judge and thinks nothing of calling him at home. I don't feel the judge should have heard the divorce case since he is friendly in and out of the courtroom with his family. And surprise, he got everything including their little girl. He then went around town telling everyone, he didn't want my granddaughter, he just took her to hurt my daugther. The final hearing took place on a day when traffic was banned in the 4 counties between here and there. When my daughter tried to get the hearing postponed she was told to bad, the locals are here. This has been going on for the last 3 years now and we could sure use some advice.

The Senate is technically tied, 49 Dems, 49 Republicans, 2 independant. You usually need 60 votes in the Senate to pass anything. In the House, Dems have 233 (53%), Republicans 202(46%), but if anything passes the house, then the Senate can block it. Not very overwhelming to me.

We pay our FICA in taxes, and Medical, and Social Security and they don't. Don't you think we should send them all back? And why is it that an American Disabled citizen is turned down from collecting a medicaid card for one year after being accepted?
What are we doing here? And what is the answer?
