Review the facts with an attorney, in order to get started.

Since you're talking about online material, I encourage you to archive copies of it as soon as possible.

Before you spend money on an attorney, make sure the libelous material meet three mandatory requirements for libel

1- The person must have done it with reckless disregard for the truth, and it is knowingly false.

2- It must be done with malice aforethought.

3- It must cause you damages.

If I print in a newsletter that Paris Hilton is a terrorist, it's not libelous.

I have no way of knowing if she actually is a terrorist, so it's not a lie.

It might have been done with malice aforethought, but thats up to debate.

Paris Hilton has not suffered anything because of my statement.

Libel is very hard to prove.
