The reason the USCIS gave me for cancelling my interview was due to unforeseen circumstances. Is there a way to find out what the unforeseen circumstances are? I am extremely stressed about this matter because it has thrown a major wrench in my gears. Can anyone help me or even shed light in this matter?

The Bay of Pigs invasion of Cuba?

Were there people claiming that JFK was a war criminal?

Were they saying that it was an illegal invasion?

Take into consideration when answering this question, that the cuban missle crisis didn't happen until 1962, and the Bay of Pigs Invasion in 1961, so there was no threat to the US at the time.

I wonder if everyone thought it was OK to invade Cuba because we had a Democrat president...

Our (the US) system of justice depends on catching someone alive so they can face a fair trial. On the other hand, if we catch Usama Bin Laden alive his followers will probably take a bunch of people hostage and demand that he be released. Should we forget about trying to catch him alive?

Nixon resigns instead of finishing his term to guarantee his pardon. If he had finished his term the Republican Party could have lost the oval office (which they did when Carter became president). Carter would have not pardon Nixon, but Ford did. By resigning there wasn't an election and the Republican Party retains the White House. Do you agree?

It is "recommended" that if a minor [someone under 18] flies alone, they require some sort of parental consent letter. Is it NEEDED? I am 16 years old.

If I do not have this letter, what are the consequences?

What are the odds of the customs officers actually catching this?

Any other information I should have about this?

If the person was being arrested in their own home for a civil warrant, not criminal at all, and was sitting in their computer chair completly dumb founded and said, (calmly) "What are you talking about? I haven't done anything to go to jail. I don't have to go to jail." Then the officer went completly crazy and pulled out a Tazer gun and tazed them in the heart as they were still being calm and still sitting in the chair. All of this in front of his 10, 12, 14 and 15 year old children. The bench warrent was for failure to appear for a finance company that he thought was taken care of but aparently it wasn't. He also has never had so much as a parking ticket and never in any trouble with the police. And also there is now a $250.00 bond for resisting arrest. So does anyone know if this is considered resisting. He made no threatening moves or comments, just utter shock.

I'm 16 and I moved to Georgia 5 months ago. My living situation at home is unbearable, it always has been but I finally have the guts to do what I can to make my life better. I have a place to live, some money, a plane ticket for next month, a job when I get there, a way to finish school, etc. It is legal to move out on your own at the age of 16 in Canada without interferance from your parents. Does this still apply to me even though I am living in the US? I am a Canadian citizen and NOT a permanent American resident, these laws should still apply to me, yes?
