That we STILL have not gotten Bin Laden?

Anybody who says no and at the same time Dems do is being rediculous. It's a slap in the face to the U.S. to still have not gotten him. It make the U.S. look way worse than any pansy whining about the war in Iraq. The hypocrisy here makes me sick..

IT'S HUGE...

the ONE MAN... that hit the U.S.... 1,000 times harder than any terrorist EVER HAS...

GOT AWAY WITH IT!

five years later... we have no clue!

and even worse... we're not even really focused on TRYING!

how can that not embolden them... more than ANYTHING ELSE WE COULD POSSIBLY DO... we could invade and leave every country and that wouldn't embolden then anymore than not getting Osama...

it proves to them that you can hit the U.S. VERY HARD and get away to do it again... and THEY WON'T EVEN TRY VERY HARD TO GET YOU...

it's pathetic...

I have NEVER seen a reason why it wouldn't?

it's like saying if they didn't arrest murders, it wouldn't affect the murder rate? that's rediculous...

people respond to consequences... and Osama has had few consequences to his huge actions...

People who commit terror acts do so for a reason. Not simply blind hatred or any of that crap. Bin Laden simply helped focus that drive into specific acts. We need to address the REASONs for terror attacks. If you're willing to die commiting an act of terror then 'embolden' has no real meaning. Were they 'afraid' before? Having said that, it's disgraceful that Bin laden is still free and not even on the U.S.. radar it seems. He was just an excuse for the neo-cons to pursue a course they'd already set, and so not really important. People should hold Bush accountable for his failure.

What terrorists? Where are these hordes we are fighting? I have seen evidence of just a handful of religious nuts that crashed planes on 9/11, yet we reacted as if there were tens of millions marching on the white house. If there were as many terrorists as is claimed by this administration, we would have had many many attacks in our nation, and not on planes--they would go for crowds at events, malls, city streets.. It ain't happening, and not because Bush II has caught them all.

No, but our willingness to be sitting ducks in Iraq and Afghanistan emboldens them, certainly. Iraq did not have a terrorist problem until we invaded and occupied it.

Another Bush high point. The special forces were ready to take bin Laden and Bush called them off. After all, the bin Ladens and the Bushs were long time friends.

If we manage to capture Bin Laden, that will only make the terrorists more furious...it's a lose-lose situation for us

It's hard to find a man in the mountain ranges of Afghanistan and Pakistan.

Emboldening them to what? Fly airplanes into buildings? They seem pretty bold to me already. The left however gives unlimited aid and comfort to them with their manic obsession to make President Bush look bad.
