I've heard about a phenomenon of being grounded. I'm pretty sure it's some kind of penalty for speaking out against President Bush and that it's a pretty American-centric type of punishment that's even pushing it's prevelance into Australian society. How can the so-called "land of the free" be the source of such oppressive, degrading, wacky punishments?

Recently went to the US Embassy down in London to report my daughter's birth abroad. The British employees were great, excellent customer service, etc. However, there was this one lady, the Consular Officer who was really nasty, had a horrible attitude and a chip on her shoulder that made her think she was Condoleeza Rice. Anyone know how I can complain? I asked for her name and the address to where I can complain and she provided neither.

Legal immigrants came and place the native american in their place (reservations), imported slaves (illegaly) and worked them in their fields, farms and industries with little or no pay. They were later liberated and demanded payment for work. They are now high in the unemployment list and placed in the ghetto. And all of this done LEGALY BY THE LAW THAT YOU LOVE TO APPLY TO ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS.

With reference to the Supreme Court Judgement in the Parliament attack case awarding death sentence to the accused, Home Minister has said that it would take upto 7 years for the Parliament to dispose off a Mercy Petition to the President. Has he (Home Minister) not transgressed his limits and has given his own judgement suspending the hanging for seven years? Does not this amount to Contemt of Court by over ruling the order of the highest judiciary of the land?.

British and American people say that thier soliders are doing a noble thing in Iraq, with that we agree because they over threw Sadam's rule.
But is it noble to kill people for "Oil" or "Petrol", because USA and Britain came to Iraq to over threw Sadam, but was that the "REAL REASON"?
So I ask everyone who one of his family is serving in Iraq, do you think they are doing noble thing, some of them were killed in Iraq for nothing, they came to free Iraq from Sadam but what about the Real Reason"?

Can you explain it to me in terms of legality, what i mean is to explain it focusing on the legality of it and how some convince themselves not give issue to the many crimes committed- why dont they associate crime with character?~ I need to understand that, cause my thinking tells me that the illegal supporters have character issues that allow them the luxury of near sightedness.

My supervisor vebally assaulted me calling me a d i c k, and ******, amoungst other things because I reported him to my manager for leaving 15 minutes without coverage, which I AM supposed to do. He then set up a sting with a friend of his and took a picture of me without my consent with my feet up and gave me a write up for it. It was clearly an act of vengeance. Keep in mind, that I am in front of computer monitors all shift, and it's very difficult to stay comfortable there. Can I sue?

Ok so i know that studies have shown that it is NOT a deterant and all that. And i agree that it isn't. however, i am doing a pro death penalty debate and i need to find evidence to show that the death penalty DOES deter crime.... (and im not talking about recidivism, or the same criminal commiting another crime... im talking about preventing it in the first place.)
