Saddam is gone! The Iraqi oil is still in the ground! The war has made a 180o turn from what it's originally intended to accomplish!
This war will continue until Ahmadinejad, the banjo eyed midget with a death wish is no more. As long as this guy has a voice, Iran will be in great danger. So, go back to your boss and give him the facts of life. So long as he belives he can continue to stir the pot in Iraq, Lebanon, the Palestinian authority, and any other hot spots in the middle east, the US will stay the coarse.
Don't believe for a minute that having the democrtats believe they are in charge now, will change anything for you. It won't!

The USA and UK did not start this war, they started there as peace keepers and to aid the changeover to a government that will rule fairly, Saddam ruled the country with the help of many people who are now pissed off that they are no longer allowed to do what they want.
Our troops do not go out and kill people for fun, there have been incidents where civilians have been killed and unfortunately this is unavoidable in a situation like this, our troops use armored vehicles for cover and safety not like the other side who use women and children.
Think of this, if there was no resistance to fight against then the troops would not be needed and the country could return to some sort of normalcy.
Stop the war and let our boys and girls come home.

Well first off, you can ignore that moreon shuffagus who replied to your question. In answer, the war has nothing to do with oil. Neither the USA or Britain, have gained any more access to the oil in Iraq than before the war. In fact, fuel prices have gone up tremendously in the USA. Secondly, I feel that every soldier who fights for his/her country does a noble thing. They do not make the decision to go war, but they are expected at times to sacrifice their lives for the decision.

It's the Americans who are killing innocent people for oil and i think there is another reason why the US went into Iraq but haven't told Britain or any other of it's allies

I have family over there. So when you say that they are just killing for "Oil", that pisses me off!!!!! Do you have family over there fighting for our freedom? If it were up to the terrorists, we wouldn't even be here. If you don't like this country go ahead and leave, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. You don't like here then more to the middle-east.

To me the question should be: do terrorist feel they are doing the noble thing by causing trouble for one of their Arab neighbors and dieing for nothing? If it wasn't for the insurgency we would have been long gone...
