I think he asks for a side of ranch for the coleslaw and extra gravy for the fried chicken. He tells a few jokes, then kicks up his heels with the boys as his wife leaves. His kids he ignores obviously, because they get into all sorts of trouble and he doesn't know a thing about it. He then enjoys quality Bourbon and red wine since he can't stop. A cigar, too. Doubt he is much for conversation, just smiles and nods at people.

What! discussed as in have a conversation? Apparently it is more like feeding time at the zoo. Complete with one of those plastic bibs with a little trough at the bottom.

Maybe what his wife has been up to on the day. where they will vacation. What to get the twins for christmas. Who to invite for the christmas party. When he is leaving town etc. Normal everyday very boring conversation.
