I just moved out of a house that I rented and the movers put some marks on the wall. I tried doing some touch ups but the paint color that I used was wrong. (I went to Home Depot with a sample I got from the room.) The landlord is telling me it's wrong and I have agreed to repaint over it but the landlord can't tell me what the correct color of the wall is. He is now wanting me to pay $3000 to repaint the walls. Not only does this sound excessive, what are my rights? I agreed to repaint the wall but I don't know what color I am supposed to use and the landlord won't tell me.

I filed a complaint against the defendant! they had 30 daays to file an answer! they did not in the allotted time, so I filed for a motion for default judgement. while I was filing the motion, the defendants decided to respond almost 30 days past the time limit. The answer the defendants filed was a motion to dismiss. The courts put the motion for default judgement on the back burner and made a court date to hear the motion to dismiss!

It's a frightening thought given some of the people out there but it would be fun (Bush and Blair beware!) Would it encourage more people to vote?

Does Tony Blair not know the level of poverty in Britain.
It is cheaper to go to McDonalds for a meal(most meals are 99p)
or the Chippy a small fish &chips 99p-£1.99 in Brum anyway.
There are a lot of women who don't know how to cook a good wholesome meal for their family and these women were all brought up with this Government statistically 1 in 5 children can't read or write when they leave school, so what hope have they got regarding cooking.
I'll bet most of these overweight children's parents are just as fat and haven't worked in years if ever.

Question is would Tony Blair be better Educating the Parents of overweight Children or should he put tax's up and give anyone over 9 stone who asks for a stomache band the operation

Here's a quote from a government employee who witnessed a recent interaction between an elderly woman and an antiwar protester in a Metro station in DC.

There were protesters on the train platform handing out pamphlets on the evils of America . I politely declined to take one.

An elderly woman was behind me getting off the escalator and a young (20ish) female protester offered her a pamphlet, which she politely declined.

The young protester put her hand on the old woman's shoulder as a gesture of friendship and in a very soft voice said, "Lady, don't you care about the children of Iraq ?"

The old woman looked up at her and said, "Honey, my father died in France during World War II, I lost my husband in Korea, and a son in Vietnam. All three died so you could have the right to stand here and bad mouth our country. If you touch me again. I'll stick this umbrella up your *** and open it!"

God Bless America and Grandma's

I thought this was hilarious.
