the schools have enough money. they dont spend it correctly. when schools become competitive, then you will see a difference. public education is just another government project that is not working. and now the supreme court is going to decide if they can make your child go an hour and a half away in a bus in order to segregate kids. it matters not that you bought you home in an area where you like the schools. the govt. is going to ship them out anyway, because of the color of their skin.....
either way, we lose

I have several better ideas.
1. Get government out of public schools.
2. Get the unions out of public schools.
3. Allow parents to decide where to send their sons & daughters.

You mean publik scrools? Why throw good money after bad? It will be a happy day when all children go to private schools and we can spend the money we're wasting on public schools to build more bombers.

Don't you realize that there is always money to build a bomber but there never is any money to buy a school book.

That is why the standard of education is continually going down in this country.
