A serious crime against Innocent civilians. More than 8500 women and children -all Muslims- who were killed. They begged UN troops (Dutch service men) who refused to protect them as they did not have an order! 8500 died and last week Mr Henk Kamp the Dutch Defence Minister awarded the Dutch soldiers MEDALS for their attitude during this massacre!!

Srebrenica is a town and municipality in the east of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in the Republika Srpska entity. Srebrenica is a small mountain town, its main industry being salt mining and a nearby spa.

I think my niece was posted there with the peacekeeping forces as a translato rto help decide who needed to go to trial for crimes against humanity. She gets sent to places that need good translators to english from many languages. She was sent to afghanistan as well.
