What would winning the war in Iraq actually entail?

Because I think were looking for an anti muslim extremist, anti AlQueda Govt in Iraq which Hussein already was. And dont try and tell me that the GOP actually cares how many Iraqis are slaughtered

If the conditions in Iraq are not conducive to democracy, there is no way to instill that spirit in the people. They may feel that introduction of Western-style democracy is antithetical to their religious beliefs. I don't agree with the war and it shouldn't have been started.

The Oil for Food program, religious fundamentalism, favoritism, the dispute over land and sovereignty with Kurds, American foreign policy and many other factors have made a mess out of Iraq. It doesn't surprise me that it has become destabilized. I scan the papers and find articles on sporadic fighting and suicide bombers everyday. The best thing Bush can do is get out of there and let them sort it out themselves.

I thought we already won. When we got rid of the Bath Party, and there leader. Thats just my thought. i think there just trying to bring order back. But there is jsut to much conflicting interest there. Why can't they all just get a long.
