My boyrfirend will take the US INS-US Citizenship exam this year. Anyone know which are the best study materials, and how to best go about this exam so that he will be succesfull? His english is perfect. any advice on the US Citizenship (he has his green Crd) is appreciated! Thank you for your help! :-)

INS is now called CIS. It stands for Citizenship and Immigration Services. Go to uscis.gov and click on Education & Resources. On the left hand side, click on Civics and Citizenship Study Materials. Here you will find flash cards, sample questions, and quick civics lessons. I hope this helps. Good luck to your boyfriend.

Study basic government for the US, to include the constitution, the three branches of the federal government and the amendments to the constitution. You will be given a study guide with 100 questions that deal primarily with the above. You will also need to know the name of your state Govenor and Senators. The "written" test is easy, you will only have to write a fairly short sentence that is spoken by the Test Administrator, such as "I had coffee for breakfast."

It is a new test. No matter what it says, the Missouri, not the Missisippi, is the longest river in the US. (I think they pulled that question, though, when people pointed out that their answer was wrong.)
