Are we just to ignorant or in denial to belive we are in world war three. The amount of deaths, the conflict and whats still to come, i totally think this is a "hidden" world war, and with the controlled media coverage we just don't realize it. What do you think?

Just curious what response I get out here…
I work in an entry level position at a small but prestigious public relations firm in my hometown. One of the older higher ups (50ish) has been known to get a kick out of hitting on associates waaaaay younger than he is. He always said stuff to me but nothing too graphic so I let it slide. However, it escalated last week. Here are some details: We have so called “huddle rooms” at work that are basically small rooms with a desk designed for small group discussions or meetings. We were both early for a meeting in one of the huddle rooms when he made a move. He told me that I should wear skirts more often and then copped a quick feel of my legs. Nothing drastic but touching is touching. I brought it up informally with coworkers but most just laugh it off. So I go the legal formal route or should I just go vigilante and slap the old dude next time? I don’t want to drag this out in office rumors but a slap would do the job I think.

I meet my bf online and we’ve known each other for 1 yr & 8 months. He called me everyday and sending email twice a week before taking a class in college. He’s working as a Master Sergeant in Air Force, base in Japan. He told me from the very start of our relationship that I have to be patient all the time because of his nature of work. Working in the military is not easy for him and he wants me to understand his situation.

I was started to get worried although he informed me early that he is gonna take a 2 night classes in college, at the same time working 72 hours a week, in charge of an investigation of squadron and he got only sleep for 4 to 5 hours every night. Since I don't get any phone calls and emails from him. I'm worried about him I was the one making my effort to give him a long distance call but still I cannot contact him. I got his cell/home/base # but it keep on ringing so many time. When I call him at home no one's answer because he put on silent mode and don't want

If you ever pay attention to your phone bill a charge on it that you don't know what it is. It is a charge that the fed gov.gets to pay for the Spanish American War. It is about $.60. This was paid off around 1940, but we are still paying for it.Lets all get together @ contact are congresmen and have this stopped. Just think every month the fed gov. gets approx. $.60. from anyone that has a phone. I don't know about cell phones, but they probably get the charge also. Ask youself where does all this money go, because they sure don't put it on the six o'clock news.

The democrats are back to their cut and run policy, we'll never be safe again, with those dam fools. They will eventually allow other countries to have the opportunity, to openly challenge the US. 1) How many missed opportunitys to militarily engage other countries were blundered by democrats ? 2) How can the democrats make us safe ?

I'm not trying to politicize this question with references to any party, but will it ever be possible to lessen our debt? Surely, some debt is good, but $8.65 trillion is a little excessive. Our debt was $2.35 trillion 19 years ago. Of course, factoring in the time value of money, that would be quite a bit higher today - about $4.12 trillion assuming 3% inflation - but that was still somewhat manageable.

Are we ever going to get to the point where debt gets so expensive (since we have so much) that it's not worth getting more?

To lower it will we have to raise taxes, cut spending, or both?

What experiences have you had with crooked cops?

I was in New Orleans at a club and we were smoking pot in the VIP. A cop in uniform with a gun walked in. My friends and I being from out of town got nervous and tried to hide the blunt. We looked at the other people in the room with us and they said it was OK, Then the cop said it was ok. His exact words were, "I dont care what ya'll do in here. I'm getting paid to be here."

Now, O.J. either just wrote a book or is writing a book telling how he would have committed the murder...but in an interview, a journalist said that O.J. pretty much admitted to the murder. Now if you can't be tried for the same crime twice, if O.J. really did admit that he killed them, can he be tried again?

What is just cause for a policeman hitting you? If you are in a police chase because you were driving to endanger, at what point when the police arrest you are they authorized to hit you? Is there some standard to go buy on the books? Should you be taken to the hospital by ambulance or can the police take you when they hurt you? Incident occurred in Salem NH in May.

I just moved to a new neighborhood and when reading up about it on wikipedia i found out that a murder occurred here about 10 years ago. I looked up some more info and it turns out it was on my very street! How can I find out the exact address of where the murder occurred? I'm not a weirdo or anything, it just creeped me out realizing that it happened on this street and I wanted to learn more. The problem is I can't find any details besides the street name. Where can I look to find the exact address? Is there a way to search the police records online or something?

I don't think he or anyone else would do worse than Bush who has killed more Iraqi's than Saddam. Plus Saddam was once an ally.

if i signed a lease with someone and we qualified for it on my income alone, being that she was non employed at the time that we signed the lease. Can the lease be voided, 4 months into the lease now that she works, because technically we would overqualify for the apartment being that she now works.

The son is charged with 3 felonies and does not understand police protocol ie when they are allowed to use force? They probably thought he was nuts. The son is charged in 2nd degree assualt to a police officer because the police officer in Salem NH, broke his wrist while punching the son? The son allegedly drove 60 mph down the wrong side of a road that was limited to 30 mph and then drove through a construction fence, continuing to outrun police with the fence bar attached to the hood of his car until he flipped the car 4 times totalling the car because he says he had a suspended license and an uninspected vehicle? He says when the police asked him his name that they told him that he was not giving his proper name and then he told them to look in his f!@#$% wallet. I understand that this type of response is considered to be combative behavior on the part of a suspect. He was hit over the head with a billy club too according to him. There were 6 policemen who arrested him.

Everyone agrees there is a problem. The people want change. The issues are plain as day and yet there is no political will to get it done. Nov. 7th changed in the right direction, but I believe our government needs a second enema to further weed out those who have the power and decline to use it. Keep tabs on your reps and vote accordingly in 2008. This topic is so HOT that nothing may get done by either party for fear of retribution later down the line. The Dept. of Homeland Security is a joke. They are a bunch of republikend partisan hacks that will only mandate actions that tow the party line. Advocating amnesty and the fence are nothing more than appeasing ideals for the republican base and big business ($ for the fence), illegal workers/aliens are killing our social services from hospitals to prisons--they must be sorted out and a national registry must be created. The overall exploitation of the Country of Mexico and its people is biting us right back in the ***!!!
