No Iraqi insurgent or terrorist wears a uniform & most people in Iraq are Arabs. So unless a US troop sees an Iraqi shooting a weapon at him/her, he/her has no idea who the insurgents/terrorist are or who innocent civilians are. The same exact thing happened during Vietnam with the communist Vietcong. US troops couldn't tell who was the enemy & who wasn't. This is one of the main reasons that the US can never win the war in Iraq. 10 terrorists could walk right in front of a US soldier and he/she woudn't know it.

I am always shocked at certain people's reactions to the war in Iraq. The enemy is one who threatens the freedom we enjoy in the US. Now if you don't think our freedom was threatened a few years back, what are you using for a brain? I see by your use of pre-recorded answers, mostly to Latronda, that you may not have an oroginal thought of your own except to maybe accuse me of being a racist when I say that someone had to decide slavery was wrong and decided to go to war to change it. If that hadn't happened, where would black people be right now? Or maybe the question should be, would slavery be over by now?
We cannot afford to stop this war at this point. It must be finished with the capture and imprisonment of all who threaten the peace and democracy we have and continue to have because of people who are willing to stand up, like Pres. Bush, in the face of adversity and say that he knows he is doing the right thing. God calls for us to pray for our leaders, not bash them.

Sure they are just firing off guns at random. In fact we are blindfolding our troops and spinning them around before we hand them weapons and tell them to treat the city like a pinata. Because as we all know the military all a bunch of psychopathic people with no souls.
The insinuations of this question are insulting and degrading to members of the military. These are our brothers and fathers and your questions reduces them to serial killers.
For Shame

If someone comes at them with a machine gun, or they watch someone blow the soldier standing next to them up, that's a pretty good indication that they are the enemy.
