I think this is an important question to ponder. We know the world is full of people who hate us and they don't care about the politics of any US city. How should the USA respond if a terrorist attacks a US city with a nuclear weapon? What do you think the chances are that such an attack would happen in the next 100 years? Do you think there'll be a difference between how we would and how we should react?

It's so extremely weird and questionable that he hasn't been seen in public since his original surgery, that I really think that bast-tard is finally dead.

It's been OVER a year and Katrina 'victims' still say they need their aid in order to find a job and get on with their lives.
Chances are these people were on the take BEFORE the storm and are now just being watched closer and their benefits will end because of the closer scrutiny.

So my question is why does the government call it a " illegal immigration problem" then? I guess it will take being one of the 12 casualties per day caused by illegal immigrants to get them "do gooder" Americans to wake up?

what's legal is not always just and what's just is not always legal.

a long time ago, slavery was legal, but not just. in that scenario, it was justified for a slave to break the law and escape in order to save his/her own life. and everyone was full convinced that slavery was the right way to go

could it be like this now?

is it not true that a just means is always justified by a just end?

in other words, if the end result is just (to save one's own life) isn't the means (breaking the law) justified?

i'm not saying ANYTHING. i'm just letting your mind wander here...\

agree or disagree as you please

"you can never judge someone until you have walked 100 miles in their shoes"

also, Jesus once stated, "Judge not least you be judged" or something along those lines

OKAY, this is alot of crap rolled into one question. I was arrested for possession of meth in April of 2005. I quit doing meth in November of 2006. I was put on defered probation for 2 years in March of 2006. After one year of sobriety I relapsed in a bad way. To make it worse, I had never had to take a UA until (surprise!) the day after my relapse! I drank about 65 ounces of water, but I don't think that is enough to dilute it (so it would buy me more time and I could do another one) so I know I will fail. However, before my relapse I was having some mental problems, panic attacks, hearing voices etc etc (yes! after one year of sobriety!) and so I was thinking about checking myself into a mental hospital. If I do that, will they get me out to take me to jail if my probation is revoked? Do I need to notify or get permission before I admit myself? Should I wait until my next P.O. appointment and see what he says? I know I need help, I'm just not sure where to start. Thanks!

Looked at my rota for work today, and for one week I am working six days out of seven, on a full time basis. Now it's likely that my boss has made a mistake, but in case he hasn't I just want to know whether he has the right to do that or not.

Is it legal for him to do this? My understanding is that people are obliged to work upto 5 days a week in a fulltime capacity. IF a boss wants you to do more than that, then they have to ask you and get your permission.

Is it just frowned upon to make someone work 6 days a work, or is it actually illegal.

If it helps, my job is with a national electronics retailer, so its not a small private firm for example.
