Absolutely not! Why don't we feed our own poor first? Think about it... would you let some of your own kids starve while handing out food to the neighbors' kids? I am not blasting charity by any means, but it just doesn't make sense to ignore domestic problems in favor of fixing foreign ones.

The U.S. is too busy feeding the illegals coming over the border to be able to feed Africa too. We do what we can, but we can't be the World's Welfare system. I live in Arizona, and if something doesn't change fast the welfare system in this state is going to crumble in the next 5 years. California is the same. Something has gotta give.l

What welfare system? The main people that get welfare in the U.S. are people over 65 who get almost free medical care and veterans who get free medical care. You can see people dying in our streets. Poor people get prescription made out free by doctors, but then they have to decide whether to pay the rent or get their medicine.
As for Africa, a lot of industrial nations are lately forgiving past loans to African nations, thus GIVING them money. And Bill Gates and Bono have been directing millions to fighting diseases like malaria and AIDs. Do you call that "welfare?"
The real problem as I see it, and I'm no great expert, is that the industrial nations give with one hand and with the other support many totally corrupt governments in African countries. Why? To get natural resources like uranium, chromium and, yes, chocolate (which is worth billions).
"Should" is an enormous word that is suggests we "don't" and it doesn't take into account what's going on in fact.
There's a huge number of books and articles about Africa. Nothing is hidden. But nothing changes due to the weight and power of the political/economic/military elites who make the policies and enforce them.

Well I guess it's only right to feed those who did not get to be slaves. There should be some kind of reparations for those who were left out.

No we should send the money to South Asia where they live in just as much poverty as Africans.
Then we should allow Africans to use their own natural resources such as coal, oil, diamonds, and gold, for their own profit and stop stealing it from them.
Also why do you keep asking such racist questions? Don't you know that you are considered a yellow ******* by racist whites? To them you are greedy, dishonest, passive, and sexually lacking and incompetent (which explains why your women want white men).
