I think this is an important question to ponder. We know the world is full of people who hate us and they don't care about the politics of any US city. How should the USA respond if a terrorist attacks a US city with a nuclear weapon? What do you think the chances are that such an attack would happen in the next 100 years? Do you think there'll be a difference between how we would and how we should react?

This is a more serious Q. than most think. Your Q. proves my point that the "National Guard" should be our National guard. Its time to bring them home to guard our ports, air ports, rail system, BORDERS and not sit in the middle of a F** King civil war. This is what the tax payers are paying for and expecting. Forget that duct tape sh*t, Brownie. Our Troops could be home with their families almost every day of the week. The families sleep better and so do we. WIN WIN situation. No rocket scientist like bush to figure that one out.

......to run like hell.............

bgood. the question was related to a terrorist attack in the USA with nukes......you are referring to the wrong cities friend! If any major city in the United States is nuked,it will be goodbye everyone. Best to hope this never happens, because I truly believe that no one here is really ready or prepared.

Well since it is a terrorist nuking us it's a little harder to say what to do. I would say take that terrorist group out. Also take out the country that supplied the terrorist. But then if you do that it kind of questions the US giving Osama Bin Laden help in the 80s.

Well the congress and house are back in the mushy, sweaty hands on the blue-blood democrats so I guess we will just have to blame George Bush or take the more predictable and tried and true (at least for them) tack of blaming America for the attack. OH YEAH what Should we do Bomb them Then Bomb them some more then just for good measure bomb them again uh did I suggest BOMB THE CRAP OUT OF THEM EVEN IF THEY ARE HIDING IN A MOSQUE

the democrats now in charge of us will start blaming the "terrorist producing policies" of the bush administration. meanwhile, they will try to set up a "terrorist roundtable discussion" to see what the root cause of the terrorists grievences, and set about a committee to explore avenues of accomodating the terrorists so that there might be peace in the mid-west. after the results of the roundtable, the democrats will vote for sharia law in America so as to achieve peace with the middle east, without resorting to any unnecesary bloodshed.

There would be instant, unstoppable terror. That is inevitable. But, soon, being Americans, we would get back on our feet and the whole country would pitch in to help and we would be an even closer, based on 9/11.

We will be nuked.
Since the Democrats have already surrendered, the world thinks we are weak.
It's just a matter of time.
Democrats don't worry about us getting nuked, they just worry how we treat terrorist prisoners.
WE WILL PAY DEARLY.
Sad to say, we won't even know who to fight back against.

If it is an Arab or Islamic terrorist who does it, you can say goodbye to the following cities:
Baghdad, Falujah, Mecca, Medina, Gaza, and Demascus. The caves along the Afghani/Pakistani border will be radioactive for decades.

well, I don't think an attack would ever happen, because we are doing the best we can to stop the threat before it can become one. But if it did happen, we would need lots of time to recover, then we would (shouldn't but would) go blindly after anyone who could possibly done it with blind rage more than anything the world has ever seen.

Your question has been pondered by some of us for some time.

It is the reason Iran and NKorea should NOT be allowed nukes.

It is the reason we are in Iraq, fighting terrorists.

Wake up, America!
