Lol It would not be a happy family holiday for him. My parents would be trying to convert him the whole time. He would walk out of my house a better person.

This is not meant as any kind of flame or anything but I have always seen that woman with very conservative husbands normally take liberal men for there lovers because of there passion.
Personally I have mostly liberal in me, with some Conservative, and I married a staunch republican woman, Happily married to my best friend.

I am curious on what you THINK the liberal values are? I own a On- Site computer repair business, and I pretty much handle the more wealthier customers, Surgeons, business owners, owners of name brands of things I am quite sure you heard of, they are probably split being democrat and republican, but I do get to talk to many many successfully people one on one while fixing there personal computers, sometimes I hear some pretty odd things but not to often and we do talk politics allot, so I do feel I probably am at an advantage on what successful people think, just curious on your definitition. Thanks

I'm not sure I understand-you're saying you're a very good girl and do as your parents say? And you would be just as dutiful to your husband? A woman staying in her place does fit in nicely with the Republican party....good for you!

Since I am closer to the age of the parents, I would offer to pay for the divorce, after he took my daughter into a ditch.

Just like my parents did, btw: ) The sadness is the fatherless children...

My kids would never marry a liberal. Too much of a ideological difference. You have to have basic values in common for a lasting relationship and our values are the direct opposite of liberals.

You try to raise them right, but they seem destined to look to the liberal side all through college..... then they have kids of their own and when they stop and think about that child's future, they change to conservative. Let them sow their wild oats... :)

Disowning one's daughter simply because she married someone with a differing political mindset does sound like something a conservative would do. What a twisted mindset!
