I work for a concrete construction company, there was none of my race there until I started working there. And I’m still the only one. I was working one day and one of the co-workers made a racial joke, the guy that was in charge of the crew was just laughing instead of telling the co-worker that it was inappropriate for business and it wasn’t acceptable. Only one of the worker told the guy that it wasn’t right for him to say that. I understand that they maybe had racial jokes of my race when I wasn’t working there. but when I started working there it should of stopped. There is no reason to make me feel comfortable. I don’t make them feel uncomfortable in anyway. So I would expect them to give me the same respect. It hard to go to someone to file a complaint and stuff. Because at this company it like me against all of them. Do anyone know what I mean? Sometimes I feel like not even to go back. But I have bills and stuff to take care of, so I have to stick it out until something else comes up. Someone told me that all company should have federal wages and discrimination laws somewhere posted in the building. Most Likely in the break room or at human resource. Is this statement true? Can this company be in trouble or even have a lawsuit against them?

A man of about 40 wrapped his mother in cellophane and placed her body in a freezer. She had died of natural causes (at 91 yrs.old) three days before. Before he put her in deep freeze his slept beside her in bed. He was a Buddhist but lost contact with their community when his mother fell ill. He took care of her for 5 years.

Yesterday, a Canadian judge released the man who had rejoined his Buddhist roots. The man had been diagnosed as a bipolar schizopheric who had no mental care. The judge concluded that the man did not kill or do bodily harm to his mother and therefore concluded this was not a murder.
How would you have reacted to this case?

happened in a fast food drive thru after bar.Could not order because other cars too loud. Walked back to other cars and asked if they could quiet down and even offered to buy their food when 2 women jumped me. After fight, I sat in the drivers seat to stop my friend, who wanted to leave, from driving away & I was injured. Police arrive and request me to move car from drivethru (thats the only time I drove) Paramedics arrive and strap me to a gurney causing a claustrophobic panic attack.Cop gives 3 breath tests in the ambulance 0.07-0.08. At ER I am threatened with arrest & "I spend the night on a cold concrete floor all weekend which won't help my injured neck" if I dont submit to blood test.I ask for my attorney but denied. At 4 am, I am cited out for a DUI and leave hospital to go home. Never went to jail, never handcuffed (thank God!), and never read Miranda rights.Officer did not charge other women with assault/battery because they said I started it. I'm permanently injured.

Something they all have in common.

The most basic responsibility of this Alliance is to defend our people against the threats of a new century. We're in a long struggle against terrorists and extremists who follow a hateful ideology and seek to establish a totalitarian empire from Spain to Indonesia. We fight against the extremists who desire safe havens and are willing to kill innocents anywhere to achieve their objectives.
