It doesn't matter how much a Democraticly controled congress wants troops out Iraq. The troops are under the control of the Comandar and Chief. The Congress can't order the troops home. Only the President can do that.

Which famous figure would you bring back from the dead in order to solve the problems of today? I'm talking about the middle east conflicts and the potential world war three we may be heading in to....? I'm thinking either JFK or Elvis. When he was young of course. No one wants fat Elvis.

If Osama had been hiding in a mountain range located completely within Afghanistan it is probable that the US would have surrounded it, bombed it, and sent him on his way to his afterlife in hell.

However, because the terrain that he is suspected of hiding in straddles the Afghanistan/Pakistan border it means than you have lots of well-trained US soldiers hunting on the Afghanistan side, but less well-equipped, less motivated and poorer trained Pakistani troops on the other side.

All Osama has to do is stick to the Pakistani side of the border and there is little chance of finding him. Only swamping the Pakistani side of the border as well will make a difference, and the US can't do that without violating Pakistani sovereinty.

So what's the solution ?

According to her, he kept calling her (which I don't doubt... I was present for a lot of her phonecall), and he was threatening to have the police take her to jail for theft.

Now, from what I understand, there's no such thing as a debtor's prison, however, the car wouldn't start, so, she couldn't get it back up to the dealership (which at least would have been listed as a voluntary repossession). Under the fair debt collections act, was the man who called her within legal limits in threatening her and her family that they would go to jail unless they got the car?

I mean since most of the illegal immigrants live in Mexico, they could go back and get their papers quickly. Then the U.S. would have to handle the terrorists, the drug dealers, etc. And if there are any rebellions about illegal immigration against America, we could just take away the rebellious people's citizenship, or their possibilities of becoming a citizen.

I was born in London England in the 50's. I moved away in the 90's to the south of England as there is more space down there. I am not sad or lonely just very annoyed that we are the only country taking is asylum seekers. I am not racist as when in the 70's in London more races where coming here. In fact my husbands father was polish, but he did fight fot this country in world war 11. I have seen the uprising of the National Front in London and have seen many riots etc between the white and black people which was very disturbing and that is why I moved south for my daughters. But letting in 500 people a day on this very small island which it is is ludicous. As one person said they should be let into the first safe country they come to. But know they got to travel over europe and get a boat, lorry, car, or anything else to hide in and come here. Why? Because we are too soft. I want my children and grandchildren to have the opportunity to work but there will be no jobs soon.

This is more simpilar instead of having racial wars or anything violent like that. Instead, the U.S. can give them an opportunity to go back to their country and come back legally. Then the U.S. just raises the taxes for them depending on how long they were in the U.S. legally. How does that sound without any violence or harm?

Apparently the police told her she could serve then with a 15 day notice. I have never heard of such a thing. I fear they will not evict properly. I have researched and these people are professional evictees. Just yesterday the owners son tried to enter the property while the neighbors were not there. Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I want this scum GONE!
