Nice to see a young guy like you so concerned about our country's problems. Different countries face different problems. We share the problem of terrorism with superpowers like the US, the UK and Russia. Corruption exists in different degrees in all countries, though India is quite at the top. Begging, child labour, unemployment etc. are unique to all third world nations.
The sad thing about all these is that instead of making a determined effort to cure our maladies, our efforts have remained more on paper and at the very best half hearted. Our spineless netas have fostered corruption and done little to improve the lot of the poor people.
Arms alone don't make a superpower. The most important thing is character, which we lack miserably. And that's what we need in abundance if we are to literally rise from the ashes and become a powerhouse like Germany or Japan after the 2nd World War. It will help a lot if young people like you came forward to share the great responsibility of achieving this aim.

When youth like you will awake and lead the country we will the superpower.
Do your best where you are.
America is not super power, even couldn't control Iraq and couldn't catch Osama. In past see the history, in Vietnam America defeated, in Cuba and Latin America, USA is not able even to threat them. India is a great country, when the day will come to prove then the arrogants will know what is super power and how India can be super power apart from the present scenario of money.
See the atomic power of India (http://www.fas.org/nuke/guide/india/), sufficient to demolish any super power.
See Laxmi Mittal, purchasing the European companies and leading. There are lot of Laxmi Mittals in India. Why America is shaking hand with India in nuclear energy (http://www.mohavedailynews.com/articles/2006/11/18/news/nation/nation2.txt)

India is only good for cheap, but educated labor. It can't be a superpower as such as it doesn't have the financial ability.

It takes money to be a superpower - look at the collapse of the Soviet union.

Indian workers are paid a pittance. That's why it is a popular option for companies to use labor there, but the profits go elsewhere.

no India can never become a successful nation let alone a superpower - the newspaper propoganda is just to divert the attention of the people from the real issues.

people who pretend to be our government have no right to rule us they are currupt and stupid .

we are headed towards total disaster as a country in a few years if common people do not sit up and take action

news papers have to publish news of rich and well to do people for their own existence. poverty is a permanent problem of India since the British rule. it will take a few centuries for India to become normal. wait patiently and tell your grand children to do the same
